That’s kinda funny cause I was going to comment on the label anyway. I do like the label and I had the exact opposite reaction. When I saw it in my local grocery I thought it was supposed to be pricier. I almost bought it. Next time I’ll pick one up. Great episode.

Hi Gary, Really really fun show. He’s made me curious about Alexander valley. Will have to do some research. QOTD-I like it only after knowing the story behind it.

Great show; I really enjoyed the banter. Interesting with Nick comments on the Australian New Zealand rivalry. I think this is a pretty much one-sided thing. New Zealanders live in a little country in the middle of nowhere and thus feel they have to prove themselves and have invented this so-called ‘rivalry’. Australian’s really don’t feel the same, if we think about New Zealand’s it’s more in a friendly manner.

QOTD: So-so, certainly doesn’t rock-my-boat, but don’t hate it either.

qotd: I like the lable, but I agree with gary, the execution is poor. I like the concept, but I wouldnt have got it if you hadnt told me. Also, it clearly isnt hand drawn or anything so lets not get tooooo attached to it.

Once again great show for me. I really like Nick.

Hi Gary, I love your shows! I have always loved watching your “business-related” shows and keynotes and have never been that interested in the “wine” part of your business. I decided to watch this full episode and I have to say that it was really….really entertaining. I will watch it on T.V. when you get a deal!

Thank you for these episodes. Nick Goldschmidt is a fascinating fellow, and I always enjoy getting a peek into the mind of a winemaker. Please invite him back, maybe for a blind tasting episode.

The only thing I can’t figure out is how you managed to fit into such a small space two such enormous egos.

QOTD: Fantastic concept, decent execution. I think it may be the colors that are offputting, but that’s just a guess based on what I saw on a computer screen. If Mr. Goldschmidt wants to send me a bottle, I’d be more than happy to give him a more considered opinion.

Gotta say those were some really great shows (2 parter). Thanks Nick. Very entertaining. I’ll have to hunt some of the wines down to try out.

QOTD: I have to agree with Gary, the label makes it look like a lower priced wine. The thought is great, and a few tweeks is all I think it needs to bring it up a notch. Can’t fault the effort though.
