Johnson family, I hope everything turns out for the best. & that clos de brusquires [which i know as clow de brew-skee-air-Ayss] has been a near easy sell for me in my restaurant due to its killer price and quality. Now while i’m one of the 1st to appreciate the nose, its the taste they want with dinner, and after decanting, well this sure brings ‘the thunder’ for its price. One of my fav chateau neuf de papes [9th castle of the pope], not ‘new’ sorry, to recommend to guests in that price range.

Good episode, not so familiar with CDP’s but they are on my list of wines to try.

qotd: No I have not had any 07 chat 9 de papes. BUT, after this tasting, and already carrying the clos de brusquieres, the domaine font de michelle, and a coupple others, I will make damn sure that tomorrow, when i head back to work, that they cases do get ordered. The Goldschimidt Vinyard Cab I ordered came in a MASSIVE bottle. HEAVY! Not quite as complex as I’d hoped for but very tasty with a big ass filet mignon.
I want to hear about last years cruise. It’s a big ass commitment from the left coast. I’d hoped for an Acapulco Cruise. Is it too late? Ok I love the Jets. Will Kahuna be there as a guest chef?

The 2007 wines from Domaine de la Janasse are out of this world. And for amazing QPR, the 2007 Cotes du Rhone Villages wines from Domaine des Grands Bois.

Are you kidding, I haven’t even touched my ’03 CNdP yet. Although being cheap, I’m more inclined to just drink Vacqueyras and Gigondas, although I haven’t bought any Rhone wines at all in awhile, they tend to kinda tire me out … at those prices, I might grab a few though.

Maybe. The Pats looked awful mortal last night, and they had no business winning that game. I can see the Jets striking early and winning by less than a TD if they hold on and play smart.

Pats are going to win on Sunday Gary. The Jets will probably get a couple of touchdowns though. I think 28-14 Pats.
