    • Have had a lot of Shea wines and they are terrific. I like seeing winemakers who don’t sound like the guys in the tasting rooms. He isn’t slick but the wines are. Thanks

    • I had a bit of a hard time staying awake throughout the show, but that Homer wine sure got all of my attention. I don’t remember having a Pinot Noir in that price point, nor I believe I have one in my cellar. Pretty cool. QOTD: You followed your dream and your passion, without any kind of heritage. That takes a lot of guts, and also your irish luck. You did great. God bless you.

    • By the way, I’m not exactly rooting for the Patriots, but the Patriots are the Patriots. 21 – 7 is my prediction. Good luck.

QOTD: Informative show, he came off as much more of a grower than other guests. What he lacked in wit, he made up for with a wealth of knowledge. I agree he needs a wristband.

My god, what a likable guy! Great show, inspires me to make wine – for myself. I’ll arrange myself a road-trip out west one of these days, and I’ll be sure to come by and pick up a bottle.

recommend volunteer farming on vineyards in Italy (wwoof)?

Shea’s are generally great across the board, and fun to do in side-by-side tastings from different wineries.

Interesting to see Gary’s perspective on his own femininity (haha). Great episode.
QOTD: You did well sir, I’m glad that you talked about what you knew, and you came across as a very intelligent wine grower/maker.
