line of the day -‘delightful little bugger’

Maybe it was just me but I got the impression GV was scoring these wines slightly higher than they deserved because he didn’t want to disappoint the Vayniacs who had bought them.

    I found the 07 reserve Chahalem and it was darker than yours but similar to the taste notes. I tried it warm like you like it but later I’ll taste it the way it was made to drink. -40degrees Kelvin with a shrimp cocktail.
    The Allegrini I found was the 2005 and it’s very good. I’ll give it a 101 points on the sliding scale.
    The Ben Zudist wine I dould not find and I don’t think I will try to anymore.
    You know where to put the cork’ddd.
