Awesome episode! Canadian wines seem unique.

What do you think makes them special?

Good to see another hotel episode and that things are going well. Congrats on the book.

QOTD: I like Canada. That is where RIM is based.
QOTD2: Don’t remember the producer, but it was a Cotes Du Rhone and was good.

QOTD 1 Enjoyed RCI and CBC in my shortwave days, and have always thought Americans should be more aware of what’s going on to the North
    QOTD 2 Never been
QOTD 3 2006 Spier Cabernet Sauvignon Vintage Selection (South Africa, Western Cape)83 — have just never had much luck with SA wines!

  • Park Hyatt in TO on Bloor? I know that view and that bathroom decor.

Love TO and Canada in general. Spent at least a week a month there for 7yrs.

Canada is stepping up. Le Clos Jordanne (whether peeps dig it or not) is a game changer for Niagara.

Interesting things to come from ONT and BC in the future.

Last wine that freaked me- 2004 Salinia Heintz Chard (Sonoma) Kevin Kelley’s personal label. FTW!

After one of your recent Chateauneuf Du Pape episodes I was curious to try something from that region. I had a 2005 Perrin & Fills. I gave it a 91 plus. My wife gave it a 93. Thanks for opening our eyes to other stuff.

Good job on the NY Times list! How exciting!

I don’t know Canada well– My impression (10 yrs ago) in niagra area was overpriced tourist trap- maybe just the area I was in. I would like to try an Okinogan (spelling) wine, But love the Inniskillan Ice Wine.

QOTD- Last wine- Finca Sandoval- I liked it very much, had a little complexity, but I like a little more. My score +91

Congratulations on #2 NYT bestseller. Next week #1
