QOTD: Traveling on a business trip to Moscow Russia. Went to the Chilies restaurant at JFK airport, had two pints of bass ale and a unisom (over the counter sleeping pill). I woke up somewhere over the Baltic Sea! I highly recommend it for anyone traveling ro Russia!!! AMM

Absolutely superb! When out of your domain, you still bring the thunder! This week has obviously been a killer for you, but anyone that has met you can’t deny your passion…..I’ve told two friends and they have and so on…..keep Crushing it!

Well…I started drinking a nightly glass of wine less than a year ago and was truly surprised by all of the nuances of wine. Then I discovered Wine Library TV through iTunes. After watching a few episodes, I knew I had to do it. I knew I had to watch them all…and tonight…I’m all caught up! All 762 episodes. I enjoyed watching them as much as I have enjoyed the wine. Gary, please keep churnin’…and one last thought: Why has Sir Gary not made an appearance in over a year? Thanks again for all the work that you (and Mott) do.

QOTD: Sad, but true…I’ve never had a drink in an airport.

Loved the benevolence factor of this one (book signing), and neat to see some decent stuff come at the Big D airport.

QOTD: Haven’t ever had it… best beer experience at Great Lakes Brewing Co in Cle, where I had a couple before a flight, and the place was getting smashed. Got to see short-term love connections being made (precursors, or course), and 18 other dudes sitting around wishing it was them… hilarious!

I have never drank at an airport primarily because i have not flown since high school.

Great show sorry about the Jets but thank you to the Jets for being an intermediary between green bay and minnesota and facilitating us getting Brett Favre.

QOTD: Had some fun ones… getting happy in Heathrow in the morning at the WAY overpriced smoked fish/caviar bar with people from wherever… the little texas wine tasting place in DFW (not the one in D) has been fun a few times. Its always about the people.

QOTD – Don’t think I’ve had any wine to drink in an airport. However, I had to lug a case of wine (wrapped separately in a duffel bag) from one end of Charles De Gaul airport to the other after a trip to the Loire valley – this was when you could still carry wine onto the plane. That bag got heavy…

Nice one – as a South Aussie I had never even heard of those. I usually drink Langmeil, Wirra Wirra and Penny’s Hill so hadn’t tried either but interesting to see you pairing it with Maccas nuggets.

QOTD – 1) Had a great time in Philly airport on the first time in the States. I hadn’t seen basketball for 4 months (living in the UK at the time) and so watching some college ball with the locals telling them about South Oz and drinking some good beers. Friendly people and lots of invites over for dinner but I was heading out to St Louis later that day so couldn’t go.

2) (As a backup answer) The Adelaide Airport now has a Coopers bar in it – so our favourite still family owned beer is available for a last one before you leave and as soon as you get back.

After dinner cognac on Thai Airways… put me right to sleep 🙂

One time I was waiting on a flight at Burbank and had a convo with a lawyer at a big VC company. It was great times since it was a friday night and we were several drinks deep and tons of hot actresses and models from LA in the bar.

I went to go check on our flight and the whole gate was emptied and last call for boarding. My new VC friend was still at the bar. So I RUN to back the bar to get him. We then run back to the gate, it turns out they moved the gate and we didnt hear it cause we were in the loud bar. We run to the new gate and luckily got there JUST in time to board our flight.

Burbank is the best and its always nice to fly out of there.

Gary I’m sorry I didn’t get to see this sooner, but I didn’t get an email for this for some reason! Love the feel of this episode. Keep up the good work dude. THAT GUY WAS OBNOXIOUS though. Did he not get you were taping an episode?
