lines of the day (3 – first time ever!) – ‘The Abbott and Costello of wine bottles’, ‘I’m going for a big upset here. Mott, a little Buster Douglas action’, and ‘let’s stay out of Mott’s love life’

Stonking, all action episode with boxing references and demonstration. Loved it

  • I just did a distrbutor presentation where I started by touting Alto Adige as the best region for white wine production in Northern Italy. Pinot Bianco/Blanc to me is the most under apreciated white grape.

QOTD: I am a huge live music fan. I love going to small venues to see local and indie bands as well a some naional acts. The New Orleans Jazz Festival is on my calender as a given.

I really enjoy the focus in this show and the last on neglected or obscure varietals and regions. We probably all understand something about Cabernet grapes or the Russian River Valley, but what do we know about Italian whites? I, for one, didn’t know much — but now I’m a little bit wiser, thanks to you.

That’s why I tune in: I always learn something.

Oh, and it’s good fun too.

    Thanks again.

Pinot Biancos. I hope I can find those particular wines.
QOTD: taking walks with my friend and her dog. We’re all pretty much in sync; relaxing conversations; and I get to meet new dogs along the way which I like because my pet world is cat dominated and much as I love cats, dogs are nice too.

QOTD: Trying different wines, pairing some with food and enjoying it with friends and family. Next would be playing with our wonderful Samoyed dogs and playing piano.

    Sir Gary,

I truly enjoyed the sonorous thunder that was brought by this inspiring episode! My palate yearns to be tickled by the Tramin Pinot Bianco. Certainly this was a tantalizing episode that set my excitement afire!!!

To answer yout question posed for the day: Constructing miniature Gingerbread communities.

    Cheers!

Nice recommendations, I’ll look for them here in town.

QOTD: My favorite pastime is reading. Fiction mostly, philosophy, science, everything that grabs me. I just devour books and information.

I liked how you shouted “92 points” like a challenge! Very fun.
QOTD: My favorite pastimes are camping and reggae concerts. Something I can do more often having good conversations over wine with friends.
