I just did a distrbutor presentation where I started by touting Alto Adige as the best region for white wine production in Northern Italy. Pinot Bianco/Blanc to me is the most under apreciated white grape.

QOTD: I am a huge live music fan. I love going to small venues to see local and indie bands as well a some naional acts. The New Orleans Jazz Festival is on my calender as a given.

I really enjoy the focus in this show and the last on neglected or obscure varietals and regions. We probably all understand something about Cabernet grapes or the Russian River Valley, but what do we know about Italian whites? I, for one, didn’t know much — but now I’m a little bit wiser, thanks to you.

That’s why I tune in: I always learn something.

Oh, and it’s good fun too.

QOTD: taking walks with my friend and her dog. We’re all pretty much in sync; relaxing conversations; and I get to meet new dogs along the way which I like because my pet world is cat dominated and much as I love cats, dogs are nice too.
