line of the day – ‘Is it like, communism, for you in your mind’

Not the greatest chemistry between GV and the guest but that was mainly down to the slow, deliberate way the guest answered many of the questions. What he did do well, however, was to prize some quite personal reflections from Gary, and that doesn’t happen too often

    Hey GV,

Great show on your end!!! I must admit with shows like this I can?t help realize how dynamic you are as a wine enthusiast and as a person. Dr.Vino, not discrediting his kindness is a very un opinionated- grey type of person. A like or dislike was pulling teeth along with a prudent description of his personal tasting note. I think I would go banana?s following him, getting stoked about a wine he has tried and recommended or one that he dislikes for that stretch. He just seemed like a one dimensional type of wine that gets completely disjointed in the mouth and leaves you with a 50 point rating, a pass followed by the dumping of wine and an apology to follow. Did I say he?s a really nice guy! Lol Maybe it was too much of that ?Herbatious? ? Vouvray.lol Again Gary, keep up the great work, the honesty, truthfulness, personality, and integrity and you will enjoy continued successes!

    GV,

Great guest. He handled the show like champ. I always feel a little nervous for your guests no matter who they are cuz ur personality is so over-the-top bombastic. I totally agree about Vouvray being underated. I’m all over it for the price. Especially during warmer months though sitting on the patio in the sun…perfect.

QOTD: Haven’t decided yet. My folks usually have a bottle of Kendall Jackson chard. I just don’t think I can allow that this year!
