Very good show. Can’t believe I didn’t comment on it last week when I actually watched it. I haven’t seen Samantha’s show, but I’ll be sure to try to check it out. And I love that she was not at all intimidated by you or the wine-geeky setting. She liked that the wine disappeared, and that’s just how it is. Perfect.

QOTD1: Significantly cool, but in a non-conventional way. He makes wine-geeks think *they’re* cool, and that, my friends, is a gift.

QOTD2: Haven’t seen her show, so I don’t know where she’s been. How about anywhere above the arctic circle?

QOTD: I don’t care where YOU go, but I’d like to see Tanzania and Mozambique. Actually, if you go there, Samantha, I’ll get to see it on TV, so it might as well be you and that’s the spot.

QOTD: Come try some of our Missouri wine. We saved the European vineyards from parasites in 1876. Production lost steam during prohibition, but we are working on a come back. Well not me, but the vineyards here.

QOTD: So many places I’ve never been, and since I live vicariously through Samantha, I’d like to see her to go to Africa (esp. South Africa, great food and wine) and Australia.

Great wines, great guest, great show. Definitely have to check out the latter two. I do enjoy some of the wines out of Casablanca.

Hi, Gary. Great shows the past couple of weeks. I’m anxiously looking for you to taste the wine I gave you at Watchung Booksellers a couple of weeks ago. Here are some additional details about the wine.

Domaine Cordoliani?s La Perle Noire, 100% old-vine Carignan from Corsica. The June 2008 Revue du Vin de France rannked this wine #1 under New Discoveries. The purchase price was $17, giving this wine an amazing QPR in my opinion. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Wowza. I’ve been off traveling and I come back to find a Samantha Brown ep! You weren’t kidding when you said you had some great episodes in the works! Strong work, Gary. There was enjoyable chemistry between the two of you.

QotD: I don’t watch Sam regularly, so I don’t know where she hasn’t visited. But I think it would be very cool to have her visit some of the great places of Russia.
