    Hey Gary,
It was awesome to see I was not the only one in the conference not wearing a suit. I just started in the wine industry (finished studying winemaking in Australia last year), and I love, and identify myself, with the change in attitude you are fighting to bring to the wine industry. From what I’ve seen, I can say quite happily that a lot of young winemakers share the same “down to earth”, un-pretentious, vision of the wine industry.
In my case, one of my dreams is to build a bigger wine awareness/culture in Mexico (I’m mexican), where we mostly drink beer and coke. And this makes me identify with what you are doing.
We have a small industry, but I think it is a good one. After all, it was the first country to ever make wine in America. So if you ever want to taste something from Mexico, just let me know.
    Take care

  • That was great, the guy in front of you looks like Marv Albert and I thought it was him at first glance.

Hmmmm maybe RP watches some WLTV to stay in touch with the the rouges? Haha

QOTD: The best event is a semi regular “wine tasting” (aka wine drinking/guzzling) event at an organization I belog to. It’s never about the wine it’s all about the fun party aptmosphere.

Oh, that Parker. Was there any shenanigans going on there? Why was Rioja the chosen spot for this event of CDPs?
