What’s with the clicking sound? I’ve noticed it for a couple of episodes now. It sounds like some one is taking flash photographs or something.

Good episode. Fast and illuminating. Two wines from the same place, totally different profiles. Both over priced. Hopefully these hard economic times will produce more practical winemakers for the future.

Are you seeing a trend with old-world wine countries dabbling in new-world wine techniques in regards to some of their vino’s produced or was this a once off??
Seems strange that 2 over priced sancerres tasted very new worldly

Several Sancerres I have come across have tasted overly acidic and hard at first but have still been great with food and also tasted a lot better by themselves on day two. Might just be the case with one or both of these two.

Sancerre is on my list of “must try” but by many descriptions I’m not sure if I’m going to be a fan. Today’s show not helping the matter.

BTW, I knew your are going to London but I didn’t knew you also are going to Paris. And why don’t you come to Brussels?
