89/100

lines of the day – ‘Bunny Sniffs’ and ‘On the tart-o-meter this is off the charts’

Solid episode, GV helped out the guest a little more than he usually does…can’t blame him.

  • Good show) But i’ve heard at the beginning that it’s going to be both sides) she was supposed to interview you a bit?) You didn’t give her any chance, Mr. Domination) Still, a great guest, a lot of smiles, interesting wine.

Serena is awesome. You were right Gary, she did win hearts by swallowing the wine and being a Tequila fan. Serena, you are cool enough that I will over look the ice cube incident 😉

QOTD1: Of course I used my friend google. They differ on the species and processing. Too many details to list out.

QOTD2: I have not had the opportunity of trying Mezcal. I’ll see if I can find it around here.

… now to YouTube to watch kitties falling from trees while I switch from wine to Tequila …

I really enjoyed this episode. Serena is great and seemed like a really nice person. I don’t know much about tequila, but maybe I should.

  • It is pretty much like champagne and how true champagne can only come from the Champagne region of France. The rest is sparkling wine. Tequila must come from the state of Tequila, Mexico, and from the agave plant. All others legally by Mexican law must be referred to as Mescal.

The worm in Mescal is just a horrible gimmick though. Thank goodness sparkling wine makers don’t have a gimmick.

QOTD: Never had Mezcal and probably never will. I haven’t had much tequila either. I’ve had moderately priced tequilas in margaritas and I’ve tasted Patron SIlver once or twice. I prefer wine and beer not spirits. I’m a wine nerd with an occasional beer. Tequila is made from agave. I watched the mezcal episode. The dude was way into it (‘way’).

I prefer Tequila but Mezcal does have the bonus of having the worm in the bottle. Tough one…

TART-O-METER, hahaha, tremendous. Serena was a delightful guest. Gary, thought you did a great job of getting her opinions on the wines as she bunny sniffed and drank them. Nice work.

QOTD: Tequila. I haven’t tried Mescal yet.
