Poor Kenny, his nose or words were just escaping him. Case in point, went for the drop in the bucket with minerality in the chablis: no dice. After that, he second guessed himself on stage. Been there, done that.
Phil…well… Phil is good with words. He shadowed some opinions out of safety sake as well, but hit all the safe words.
    Good stuff.

    Oh yeah, GO STEEN!

Steak Tartare, huh? I would say yes given the citrus balance of a good tartare with a pinch of pepper to boot.

WOuld like to know more about your trip to South Africa for WC2010. I will be there with my 4 year old daughter. Already have tickets to a couple of games. Plan to be in Cape Town area for 2nd part of my trip. Have been to South Africa twice, but was not into wine then so looking forward to this trip. Hope to hear about your plans.

Great show “Jet-Set”! I definitely love the Savennieres! 2004 Domaine des Baumard did the trick for me! My QOTD to you do the Jets beat the Dirty Birds?? Hopefully for you that D comes to play. Safe returns.

Nice wines, all 3 from areas I definitely need to explore more of. I wish the guests could have contributed more.

I loved this episode and I’m not sure why. I think it’s because Gary seemed to be having so much fun. It is also very entertaining to see him poll the crowd and play off of their opinions.

    Good stuff! Keep it up!

Gary, when you brought out a Sauvennieres, I said to myself that I hoped that you don’t screw up the price point with an awesome review. I think you exercised enough self control that we can still enjoy at a good price. To be safe, however, I’m gonna go stock up. Sauvennires rules. Enjoyed you in Atlanta.

Ah putain mecs !

Difficult to hear you talk because of the massive thunder brought on by this episode. Has everything that makes WLTV great – pumped audience, informed and outgoing guests, interesting setting and GV right in the middle of it. Looking forward to part II.

  • Great start… Kenny Galloway lived in my hometown (Monterrey, Mx ) for five years.

The Chablis sounds intriguing but the last wine even more so.
