@myself – For some reason I keep forgetting to add that I bought a bottle of the Buehler Russian River Chard today at World Market. I was looking for a bottle of the Cab to see what all of the fuss was about, but they didn’t carry it. I’ll come back and post what I think of the Chard when I drink it. I haven’t heard anything bad about this brand yet, so I’m hopeful it is good.

I think I might need to go to “a meeting”. I’ve checked this thread no less than 3x today.

    Helen,
Great to hear you want a re-match…you go girl!!! Perhaps instead of hawking your own wine, you can bring back more Sonoma Wines…I checked out the Reynoso website (the ONE Sonoma wine you had) and they have a Cab and a Syrah that would be interesting to get a review on…and I know there are many other deserving wines that come from The Alexander Valley.
    Waddaya say Gary V???
Buehler! Buehler! Buehler! (Helen of course…she’s cute!)

She has somewhat redeemed herself in my eyes now that she asked for another appearance. That is quite courageous of her. Who knows, perhaps it was just a shi#$y day, possibly jet lag or smoked a pack of cigarettes before the show, and she was not on her A game. I also re watched the episode and I still thought it was like watching a bridge collapse, but I have calmed down a little bit now and am anxiously awaiting the next installment of WLTV. Bring on the blind tastings! bring on the old school format! you should invite Helen back on the day you do the double blind Buehler Cab, a true redemption WLTV style that would perhaps bring thunder AND lightning!

For those of you who have not yet read Lisa Buehler’s (Helen’s Mother) response, here it is:

Dear All with the negative comments,
Let me know when your 23 year old daughters are interviewed on TV for the first time, fresh out of college so I can rip them apart. Of our four children Helen was the only one available to travel to New York. The others are either working at the winery or busy with new babies. You are all pathetic wine groupies.
    Lisa Dollar Buehler

wow. What did she plan to accomplish there? I don’t think she thought it through, much like her daughter when being interviewed. It is sad, because the wine is not bad. Helen did a bad job promoting the wines, even an “I don’t know” would have been a better answer than “I don’t pay for wine”. I don’t think Gary asked how much does your daddy charge you for a bottle, he was trying to help plug the families wine. Still, as bad as a job she did promoting her families wine, she never insulted us pathetic wine groupies, like her immature mother did. And she wants to come back on? Yesh, she should just try to forget about it and hope everyone else does too. Maybe Daddy Buehler could even get Gary to pull it down, to stop the bad publicity.

Banknote, you are quite wrong. The Young Phil was always quite lucky with the ladies And what’s not to like? I mean, look at me. I remember the sweet Margaret Turner or MT, as she was nicknamed. Would have married her but thought MT M’Glassup might be pushing both our luck.
And I apologize about my crappy typing. The type is super small in the message box and I’m not spell czeching.
