line of the day – ‘we need a Mott cam’

Basically GV could say to Mott – ‘this smells like Bruce Willis’ arse on a Friday’ and Mott would reply – ‘Yeah I get that’. Here it’s ‘sardines’ that GV bowls out there and the Mottster picks it up immediately! Comedy value very high

I watch a lot of shows, including WLTV, but I have to say that I'm very excited that Lost is finally back.

I'm currently reading Crush It, The Big Rich (about the rise and fall of the Texas oil tycoons), and British author James Barclay (he writes fantasy novels, if you're into Lord of the Rings type stuff).

I'm currently listening to the Wailin' Jennies, who we bought tix to see in April. I like what I hear so far.

  • collegefootballisnumberone

I never respond to QOTD. But here goes: reading Kitchen Confidential–a classic, watching NFL Live, listening to Lady Gaga.

  • Mott cam is a must! One of my favorite parts of watching WLTV is the banter between you two.

For the QotD, I'll just give my most recents:
Watching – Man v. Food on Travel
Listening – Norther's Death Unlimited album
    Reading – George R.R. Martin's A Clash of Kings

  • MooseSox

11 in a row! Caps are on a roll!

Don and bsmiley, do you guys go to the Mount Vernon wine festival? It's a great way to taste a bunch of Virginia wines at once in a great setting. Some are hits, some are duds, but you can move on from the ones you're not digging pretty easily.

  • QOTD:

Oh, and Gary, to answer your CBQ – Sure I'll meet you halfway, but I have no idea why you would want to meet at the Delaware toll plazas. But it will be a great opportunity to give you a ton of wine shipping styrofoam packages back to use again. Reduce, reuse, recycle!

Reading: Otaku no Musume-san, Nazo no Kanojo X, Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai, Kami no Shizuku[how I got into wine]

    Yeah, very eclectic.

@GaryV: What do you mean by that question of, “Can you meet me halfway?”

I propose that if you have Mott taste, there must be a camera to catch his reaction!

  • vpass64

I would like to have a conversation about Greek philosophy with Mott. Something tells me that he would enjoy that subject.

    QOTD:

    3. Reading: How the Scots Invented the Modern World: The True Story of How Western Europe's Poorest Nation Created Our World and Everything In It. By Arthur Herman.

Please take a look at this book. It is not a book about how one ethnicity is better than another. It explains how being Scottish is not a race, but a personality and a way of life. Gary for example, is a Scot. Just like me.

I have been thinking more about malbec lately. My wine lately has been missing something maybe too comfortable with the varieties. This episode brings up the interest and will look around.
