    Great show. Lots of love in your family. Too bad Mott didn't get to try the wine on the 4 year anniversary.

    QOTD: For winelibrary.com, make searching a bit easier. I'd like to see a drop down list to search by country and another by varietal.

    For WLTV, have an intern spend a day or two and go through and clean up the typos in the tags section of the Past Episodes. Example – Burgandy and Burgundy are two tags.

    For wine shipping, PLEASE switch to a non-styrofoam option to hold the bottles or at least a bio-degradable foam product.

  • “With a little bit of you . . . AND ME” I had a smile on my face the entire time watching this show. I've seen them all, been there from the get-go and I must say, this show was at the top. Where to begin:

    ? Yes, we were all yelling “Get some food and cheese for your Dad!”
    ? No turkey on my subs too, keep it real with ham or pastrami (Italian)
    ? Sasha is as passionate as am I about hockey. USA! USA! Yes, we spanked the Canadians though a huge mistake comparing it to the 1980 upset of the dreaded Cold War Russians. Now the Russians have my fav player, the Great Ovechkin of our Washington Caps. 🙂
    ? I have to find some of that FU. As your Dad said, the box is a work of art.

    Again, a wonderful show. I would have liked to have seen Brandon show up to celebrate.

    QOTD #1: Like hockey, it's easy to see Sasha is passionate about Obama. Glad you kept him from going there Gary. So, I will answer his “two part” question. Obama will be a one-term President and the economy is worse since he took office. Not political, just fact. Check the numbers and ask a multitude of my friends who have been out of work for over a year.

    QOTD #2: For me, WLTV has to stock more than 5 bottles of a wine reviewed by Gary. I have an order now that is being held up due to a wine you had when I ordered it but then becomes “sold out.” Does anyone have precedence over moi?

    Great show, it's been an amazing ride and thank you both for sharing your lives with us.

    P.S. My final prediction though I hope I'm wrong:

  • Gary ~ I love it when your dad is on the show. Reminds me of the days of yore in his Mom “n Pop shop, but I never saw his sense of humor then!! He was always all business, friendly, but just selling the goods so you and your brother could be in a better place. So nice to see such family love.

  • Definitely my favorite show of all 820 of them! Love it when Sasha comes on. And I'm not always a fan of the guest format but always a plus with him.

    QOTD: Only thing I wish you did more of was to taste and rate and have on the show more wines that are readily available to the majority of us out here. I have gone out looking for a few different wines after seeing them on WLTV only to be upset that I can't get them in my area. I know you can't do that all the time but a few every now and then would be nice.

    Happy 4 year anniversary! Can't wait for the next 4 as well!

    Great episode, the “Sasha” episodes are by far my favorite; the dynamics between you two are priceless and hilarious.

    QOTD: I agree with Tyler below me; it would be helpful if you maybe reviewed wines that are more widely available. Don't take this as a complaint, it's anything but that, I'm just saying that might be something to think about.

    Faux QotD: This seems to be a cyclical recession that happens each decade almost like clock works except this somehow is extraordinary.

    QotD: Customer Service is already at the prime and wouldn't improve it except to keep the current staff as it is. Website management, I'd suggest increasing the number of people in this department so as to better handle the ebb and flow of viewers on here as well as cinderellawine.

    Please for the love of all that is living, FIX CINDERELLA WINE'S FORMAT! If anything, revert to the previous format but merge with disqus. When you do decide to deploy a new format, get together a panel and gather feedback. Have a small link to give a “taste” on any place where you're looking to implement a new format and gauge the response.

    QOTD: Improve communication between warehouse and store. Multiple times wine that is reported as in the warehouse turns out to not be available, delaying shipments, sometimes until the next week.

    QOTD:2 You said you were going to do more cork'd episodes this year. We've seen one and it was about Banyuls, which is a fairly obscure wine region. Lots of room for improvement in linking Cork'd to WLTV.

    Totally agreed, I don't find myself visiting the CW as much with the new formate. I don't read the discussion anymore, it's just not a visually-appealing or user-friendly setup. Go back to the old format!

  • My favorite episodes are the ones w/ your dad because of the closeness you share and love and admiration you demonstrate. He should be a monthly guest.

    As for what you guys could do better, only one thing. Find a way to convince the State of Michigan to allow bottles to be imported.

    As for Hockey predictions:

    I can't believe that I got totally sucked into this episode and there was minimal discussion of the F.U.! Fantastic show – it's about the history, the chemistry and more. More Sasha, please. Any father or son would love to have the relationship that you two have. I'm a turkey sub person myself but, please, break out the cheese when your father makes the show.

    I would think that the two of you might have some insight into the state of the economy going forward. Are there plenty of discount lots of wine available for your channels? Are sales at the higher price points steadying or rising? Things will be better by 2012 but for those in dire straights that's a long way off.

    Q.O.T.D – I am amazed by the customer service at WL/GL. Any problems that I've had have been addressed immediately. A couple of comments, though – tone down the hype a bit (e-mail offers or previews of CW specials) and consider offering several items or a marathon day with multiple, sequential offers on CW. Perhaps a Sunday night special, too?

    Keep it up and keep it real!

    Hockey? U.S.A.! Canada will have a hard time besting Russia. Look for a timely hit from Ovechkin to set up the winner. Russia v. US in the final. Epic.

    I actually have the wine box fetish like Sasha. I used to prevent staff from breaking up the boxes until I got a look. Some of them have remarkable detail such as maps, and other ornamentation burned into the wood. I used to use them for storage and even gifts ex. a wedding gift of gourmet food and wines inside a beautiful old montebello crate….nice.

    HAPPY 4 YEARS, BIG G.!!! I've been with you nearly the whole way- I joined around episode #80… a long, long time ago, then watched all the episodes I had missed, and have seen all of the episodes since… as you know.

    QOTD: Content is great, Cinderella Wine is great, free shipping codes once in a while are always appreciated, and maybe some more West Coast events now that the book tour is over…

    Amazing episode! I laughed a lot, your dad is quite a figure! Keep up the great work. It's very nice to know there are important people in the wine trade that are constantly worried about prices getting to high.
