Thanks, I will try to comment more often. It’s simply hard to find the time to watch new episodes when they are released; mostly doing catch-up…

  • WOW…second? w00t! Laid back Friday on the couch! WTG Mott…great story! Never had a Vin Jaune. Is the $96 price point comparative with all of them, BTW?

QOTD: Hopefully I will have some bubbly tonight while my cousin is honored at an event. Taste of UWS is tomorrow, and I know there will be some NY vineyards representing. Had me a Torpedo Extra IPA last night amongst other things.

  • Fascinating show. Never even heard of this wine before. Thanks, Gary!

QOTD: I'm hoping it will be a cheap Syrah since that's what is waiting in the wine fridge at home!

Great Mott cameo! I love that guy, simple as that! He seems a bit ackward in front of the cam, don't be Mott, We Love U!
And your tasting skills are on the up'n'up!!! Just go for it!

Thanks! for everything YOU do G. The reason why i watch this show is simply because you are awesome. Now, that might be a little too positive for some, but that's how i feel! ; )

What can you say, Vin Jaune, never tried it. Don't know if i ever will. But i will say this, i have tried D'Yquem 1997 and i wouldn't have traded that for anything in the world….!

Cheers ya ol' Vayniacs out there, Weekend Great? Yes indeed!! : 0 )

  • Definitely a nerdtastic episode. I learned something new

QOTD: Hopefully I will be drinking a pint of Long Ireland Celtic or Pale Ale. I will be drinking a lot of it this weekend if I don't hear from back from friends for next week at the City Winery….

  • WMiree

This is a 2000 Vin Jaune, built to last for many decades. Query: Do you suppose that it is too young to appreciate at 10 years of age? Or conversely, will it get better with a several more decades of age?

  • WineTechie

I think there are some Gulden Draaks in the fridge. Great Belgium beer, creamy, flavorful. My absolute favorite beer!

QOTD — until I wander the grocery store tomorrow and decide what to cook, I don't know what I'll be drinking! (well, except for coffee for breakfast & diet coke at lunch)

okay since you're drinking funky wine (maybe we should have occasional funky wine fridays) I'm gonna pop a 1990 Poniatowski Vouvray Moelleux Clos Baudoin – which i thought about because of today's tasting…..

  • Allan

    It's not fair! ; (

  • A dumb Rhein king

MO-O-O-OTT!! You do an excellent job. Your work is much appreciated.

Woot. Laid back Friday. Perfect way to spend my last weekday of a week off. Funny that I ended up working more at my house, parents house, and HRC than if I had just gone into work.

Thanks for nerding it up, Mr V! Interesting wine making style.

QOTD: Maybe a bottle of the Frontenac that I made. I'm kind of in the mood for Tequila as well.

  • Allan

    Zieg Heil! or somethin'?

    Rock on KAHUNA

Gary…even if you didn't like this…I'm sure some of us would still like to see this land on Cindy….I know I would if it was a good deal!

    QOTD: Blooming tea…

I drank the secret red the other night. It was pretty tasty.

  • Gary you have a ton of great energy! I just read your book Crush it! Thank you! I recommend it to all. It really does take a lot of hard work to make it online, but really anyone can “crush it” with patience and a desire to follow their true passion.
    Keep it up dude!
