A very enjoyable part 2 episode! This is definitely a resturant I liked to visit…I plan on seeing if the fiance if he would like to dine there on July 10th. I looked at the shrimp scampi recipe with looks wonderful. Gotta love the give-aways!

I liked the second episode better than the first and the Chianti Classico Riserva sounds like the wine to buy. Good episodes over all. Was a little questioning at the beginning but it sounds like they knew the business and were prepared and not just trying to play on the Sopranos name.

I agree AndersN. I liked it when GV announced the new policy of not scoring wines with the winemakers and/or importers present. It only lasted for what seemed like one show, but it was a good idea.

Great two parter. Love Uncle Jun. Hate Johnny Ola. A fav scene in Godfather part 2 was when Michael asks Johhny Ola what he wants to drink. With a flair he says “Anisette” For those who don't get it, Dom played Johhny Ola in Godfather II.

I do enjoy Chianti. Outside of Ruffino, I have found the Terlato Santa Margherita Chianti good drinkers for the price. WL/CW has me spoiled on their awesome Brunello and Barolo offerings though. Would have loved to been at that table with you guys. Great episode

You know, I have to say that the Sopranos branded wines sound like a good effort and not just a marketing gimmick, but that is indeed a tough sell to serious wine fans who may dismiss such efforts out of hand. The Chianti Classico Reserva sounded like a really good wine that I would probably buy at that price point.
