During the huge Open House on 7/10, Gary Vaynerchuk brought everyone upstairs and taped a live show. He tasted two wines with the Vayniacs: a previous Cinderella Wine and a future one.

    The ending of the show with the crowd cheer actually made me laugh out loud, and somehow feel connected and proud….even though I don't know why! Great, great job GV, you continue to amaze and re-invent all the best things about wine and the internet.

    QOTD: B/C I'm still an amateur in the wine arena, I'd pick more based on location. So I'd be all about going to AUS, Portugal, & France.

    ***We learned more about what I like and different grapes on Sat night at the WLTV party than my last 5 months of drinking wine. We also met so many amazing people! Thank you.

  • This crowd rules! QOTD: I am so totally biased, but Kiparissi, Peloponnese, Greece. We go there every year with all the family. What impresses me most is that we meet- every year – Greek-American families who live in the U.S., but return once a year to go back to their roots.

    Damn! I wish I hadn't moved out of NJ – I could've BEEN THERE! Hopefully, next time I can make it – that looked like a fun crowd and a good time. About the wine, I've found the same to be true of many of the Barolos I've had – they fool you on the approach being that they start off kinda light but then they instantly blow up on you and show how awesome they can be.

    QOTD: If I could go anywhere this summer, it would be to one of the major growing regions of Italy, France, or Spain – I've never been to any of them so I don't care which.

    QOTD: Do a food/wine tasting road trip… start out around Montecatini through Florence, Rome, Tuscany, Napoli, Capri and land up in Positano. Maybe even cross over to Bari to see where my Grandfather came from. But no..I'm at the Jersey Shore…figures!!!!

    Great show. It was nice to some of the VaynerNation. I'll def try to make the one before the Jets/Pats game. Hope ya do that one. Mott, as usual, did a great job. I love how he got the Vayniacs to give the final send off.

    Sadly, no. Will be getting to my hotel late on tuesday night and then leaving for DC directly after my meetings wrap up on Wednesday. I'll be going up there for work a bunch now – potentially once a month – so we can try to do something soon.
