    That was ONE AWESOME EPISODE!!!!!

  • Getting ready to watch (*pops a cork*)

  • AllanJonassen

The House That Sasha Built…. !

Sasha keeps it REAL…. ! And he has the GREATEST sense of humour! 🙂 He's The COOLEST!

This show KICKS some serious ASS! 😉 the Vayniacs ROCK!

    QOTD: agree with Sasha!

  • AllanJonassen

This was one of the greatest of all time G!

  • WesMcAllister

Another great classic episode with Sasha.

QOTD: I would like to see a tax put on spilled oil. I also think that this spill will change how ready we are for the next one. We will learn a lot from this spill and be more prepared for the next one.

  • Met Sasha in the kitchen at Wine Library – he went in, sweared loudly at the uncleaned glasses still lying around from the day before – if I recall correctly his words were “I hate it when all this sh*t is lying around, someone clean up now”. Of course he was way too competitive and single handedly proceeded to restore order. The timing of me introducing myself was so hillarious!

  • Always love the Sasha shows.

  • So bummed I missed this. Awesome show!

  • Great show, Sasha always brings it.

QOTD: Sasha pretty much has my take on the situation, but like the president's chief of staff Rahm Emanuel's frequently quoted statement, ?don't let a crisis go to waste.” mantra states. The people in power right now have to “play polictics” to demonize big coorporations and big buisness to try and mitigate some very low poll numbers prior to the midterm elections. And before anyone goes there, I am an independant and can't see why anyone would ever be part of either large political party that only cater's to themselves, not the people.

  • Kathy Hughes

Sasha is so genuine, centered and original his every word is not to be missed. Great show. Best to all, Naples Kathy aka Champagne Lady

  • THE SASHA CURSE! Fear it Lebron!!!!!

  • Patrick

I'm sitting here in N Ireland just watched the show, all I can say is thank you Great show and you reminded me my son made the sign for more also.
    Patrick

  • Wine will go up in price becuase of the demand from India, China and other asian countries and that the supply cannot increase at the same rate.
Mischa as guest, why not 🙂
    81 points ….ujujuj.. 😀

QOTD:Goverment? Oil spill? I thought it was BP who caused it, shouldn't the free market solve the problem they caused?

  • Awesome show, has to go up on the wall of fame, Mott do it. Sasha is great was he one of the four you talked about a couple shows ago.

QOTD: The administration dragged it's feet. It's a direct reflection of the lack of executive experience obama has. His poor handling is probably the reason his aproval is so low. To be honest though, it seems that all politicians want to play politics first then solve the problem if they have time between all the fundraisers, vacations, and campaning

    Hi Gary,
It's funny the way your father and you interact is exactly the same in my family…must be something ancient in our dna..
Have been drinking Cantemerle for years, I think it's a Lurton wine. Love it.
    Love,

    Seb

  • Lebron, It's all over. Gary's dad just gave you The Sasha Eye <(@)>. We will see you in NY in 3 years. Schmuck indeed.

  • NY Pete

well said Kathy … Sasha is the real deal.

  • Brunellofello

Fun show Gary. Wish I had been there for it. The Bordeaux sounds right up my alley, but I have never acquired a taste for Amarone. A friend of mine told me you have to have it with cheese, the stinkier the better. It seems to work for your Dad.

  • drt999

QOTD — the oil companies should have had more equipment available, and if it's proven BP was cutting corners on safety, they should be fined enough to pay for all the damage

Sounded like a fun time was had by all — and the forum folk like Mott cause we interact with him more!

  • johnfarrin

QOTD: The real problem is that the systemic failures were built in years ago by lax Federal Agencies that ignored their oversight responsibilities. The name of the game was make as much money as quickly as you can and the rest be damned. Unless we, as a nation, change this greed philosophy quickly we aren't destined to be the World leader for much longer.

  • jsums

Your dad should be on the show at the very least once a month… just sayin.

  • 28:30 says it all for me with Sasha and Gary

  • He's the best isn't he? Never fails us. 28:30 is classic Sasha

  • One of the best shows of all time! Sasha is the man, was great being able to hang and chat with him at the party. Plus, he gave me some of his cheese after the show ended, I feel honored! Thanks again for setting the whole great even up, guys. Cheers.

QOTD: Gotta love Sasha gettin' political haha. But yes, it is sad that an entire source of income for several generations of people will be affected by this.

  • mattgmann

Sad I missed this outing; hope I can make one in the future. Glad to see everyone had fun.

No wine here tonight….just some bell's two hearted ale.

  • guymandude

    Wow! Another instant classic!

Got a couple of those Cht. Cant. in the cellar.

  • Altboy97

#1 This was so much fun to be a part of. Its great the energy in the room translated to the recording.
#2 I am not a Bordeaux hater, I just felt like it was very light
#3 Sasha's comparison of Haiti and the oil spill is right on. One we knew what was right and just did it, one we hesitated and pointed fingers
#4 Can't wait until Sept when we try again.

  • winecrazy

WOW…Now I'm really sick I didn't come. Tell Sasha I said hello please Homey !!!!!

    QOTD: BP sucks!!!!!!!!

  • QOTD: I agree with Sasha.

The two of you together are hysterically great. Thanks!

  • Tflangan

One of the best I've ever watched. I wish I could have been there.

    QOTD: Sasha is 100% correct.

    Tom Langan

  • NY Pete

the whole show was classic Sasha … 🙂

  • Logan

YES, YOUR DAD IS THE FUCKING MAN!

  • Mike and Anna

Ahh great show. I enjoyed the father/son antics from the front row 🙂 I had to buy a bottle of that Bordeaux before running out to catch the shuttle.

QOTD: I'm with Sasha. A real shame that in this age it still is impossible to get stuff done.

  • castello

where the hell were you crazyman?!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were lookin for your ass! We had some of the biggest and badest wines in the galaxy!

  • castello

    mmmmmm beer!

  • Cnwebber

Fantastic to have both father and son on – really fun!!!
QOTD: I couldn't have said it better myself…. amazing the lengths that we have gone to for other countries in need and yet our own – well, it's Katrina times a million because of the future ramifications that we will be dealing with as a direct result. Terrible – just terrible!
Ps- Sasha can even get the lurkers out and about!:)

  • castello

Where were you dude? Did you go to nyc too?

  • tarany

i would love to sit around and bullshit with sasha sometime, what a great guy. really fun episode seeing you two together.

  • Jrouss

Excellent episode. You need to have your dad on more often.

QOTD: Agree with dad, too much finger pointing and not enough doing. Lots of other countries offering help that we never took them up on.

  • Carlos

you guys should visit http://www.onedollarstocks.net I saw Gary's speech at American University months back

  • pakman01

More now than before wish that I could have made the trip. Please do not let this be the last Wine Library event!! Lovin' the family vibe…awesome!
QOTD: Simply put…agreed with Papa Sasha!

  • orangebottle

I love it. that was a fun show, Sasha and Gray. It's just full of fantastic conversations. Sasha doesn't like to be confined, always think outside of the box. It's funny that you like to tease each other. It?s great to see this wonderful relationship. The perfect moment was when Sasha said what you think if our government?. Then Gary just drop. He had that final knocked out. You guys are the best.
