Thank you, sir. That’s one I didn’t have in “my photos” yet. Kinda reminds me of a darker “Room By The Sea” by Edward Hopper…

Gary, nice episode. I like this format but I hope you will also be doing some longer shows as I do prefer when you taste more than 1 wine. Maybe you could keep the longer shows more informational as well? That brings me to my main point (sorry if this has already been pointed out): Touriga Nacional is not Tempranillo; they’re 2 different varieties. Tinta Roriz is one of the common names for Tempranillo in Portugal, as well as (I believe) Aragonez. I love the information, but please try to keep it accurate. I think you realize the impact your words have with such a large viewership. It’s great that you are trying to educate people in the world of wine, but we don’t need even more people (such as your viewers — I don’t mean this as a dig on you) going around spouting false information. There’s plenty of that as it is. Thanks for continuing to pump out episodes and keep up the great work.

Oh, yes, and my favorite things about Portugal are the beautiful terraced vineyards in the Douro and Madeira, as well as the wines of both regions. Please do a Madeira show! I don’t want one of these 5 minute, 1 wine shows, either. I think you could go in depth on at least 3 or 4 wines, with a vintage Madeira at the end. I know I keep saying it, but a region of such historical importance and great wines deserves some attention.
