Come on Gary, don’t be too sad, this is sport…
Don’t follow NFL thus I don’t know how harsh could be this loss, but I follow football and take a look to what happened at my team Sampdoria in the last Champions League qualifying round against Werder Bremen.. this was a real disgrace…
Sure, no mistake, you are an emotional and true fan and you predicted the loss. See you tonight, right? Lovya

GV, for posts like this you need to get some sad WLTV music. Like what Fox plays when they go to commercial after an injury.

Hey Castello!
“I ordered a couple bottles. I’ll give you a professional opinion in a couple weeks.
As I recall Gary hates chocolate covered cherries.”
Castello in the comments section of Valpolicella Tasting ? Episode #937 (Oct 21, 2010)
Do you remember your promise? Or your ‘professional opinion’ just escaped my attention? 🙂

Hang in there brutha… I feel your pain. But honestly I’m not surprised at all. I’ve been a Jet fan for over 35 years. They have been (sometimes) lucky to have won many of the games that they have this season. I’ve learned looong ago not to have such high expectations in them.

g, i was wondering what you would feel like after the spankfest that was the Jets/Pats game, and i was totally surprised watching the video, but understood your pain. when my pats got beaten by cleveland, i also felt like that. but the WLTV faithful have tried to make you feel better with their well wishing, so hopefully it will rub off. those that are not football fans have also tried to lessen your pain. cheer up, we will meet again. Pats rule !

Advice for Jets: show up for the game and know your team’s jersey color. They didn’t do either.

Happy holiday! Tonight is the last night of Chanukah. 😉 (8 candles)
Cheer up Gary! Thanks for the video. I appreciate it. Maybe it’ll cheer you up to know that I’m drinking 2008 Dr. Loosen Blauer Schiefer Riesling. Awesome stuff as I’m sure you know.

Hey Gary your Jets, or Rex Ryan rather, won me $200. Won my league (regular season title) by three points because ol’ Rex decided to go for it on 4th down in the 4th quarter of a blowout rather than kick a field goal. See, it wasn’t all bad.

You have given me an Idea, a total rip off/homage to WLTV; TTV. I don?t drink coffee, and have tried all of Pete’s blends, regulars many other specialty tea shops blends and almost every green tea imaginable.
YOU with a little bit of tea, we are changing the universe, one cup at a time.

Dude, that was shorter than most of your Tweets! Seriously, cheer up – it was just one game. The Jets will be in the play-offs and everyone starts 0-0. After bowling last night, I had a glass of 2004 Leeuwin Artist Series Cabernet. Several days after opening the bottle, the wine was beautiful. Cheers!

Should have done a Champagne episode. As Napolean Bonaparte would say, “Champagne! In victory one deserves it; in defeat one needs it.”

wow. at least it wasn’t all about football, ugh? haha

Ahh GV…. I’m a big Oklahoma Sooner fan, and for me personally, I prefer a nice drink even more when they lose, than when they win. Helps get my mind off it!!

The sign of a great fan is that he becomes completely wrecked after “his” team gets, as you said, dismantled. It hasn’t been very fun to be a Seahawks fan (thanks for Leon Washington!) OR a Washington Husky fan the past few years so I know your sorrow.
Hang in there and remember you’re only as bad (or as good) as your last game. There’s always another Sunday (unless it’s the playoffs).
