You must feel as bad as I do after that debacle of game the Colts had vs the ‘Boys. I feel your pain my man. I have yet to rebound. I feel like a character in “The Night of the Living Dead.” Bogus penalty on a field goal after holding them on the 1 yd line and they get a TD and a 2 pt conversion to tie! On the ensuring kickoff the Cowboys fumble and five Colts players forget to fall on the ball to kick a game-winning TD. Reggie Wayne drops a 1st down pass in OT, the list goes on and on. I’m done.Looking forward to tomorrow. Let’s kick it up a notch. We’ll get through this and kick the Cheater’s asses during playoff time. I just hope the Colts have the opportunity.Your loyal football fan,Dom

aw, hunny! I’m sorry sweetie! *puts arm around him and gives him a kleenex*
To hell with the Cheats and now one of his prodigies gets busted!

Boo hiss…. Imagine if we could all take the day off when our favorite team loses? What a wonderful world that would be. Weak showing. Weak showing.

Lord Gary,
I know very little of these ‘Jets’ you speak of. But if said ‘Jets’ are in good standing with you, then I have every reason to support them as well! On the other sword, these ‘Patriots’ sound like a rotten bunch of scalliwags I wish to not associate with! A lot of disease ridden prostitutes, the ‘Patriots’ must be!
My most profound sympathies, Sir Gary! I hope your mourning is short lived!
Cheers!

Feel your pain. This is going back a-ways but four words “Bird stole the ball” and noting that I am a dyed blue Detroit Pistons fan should be context enough. For the true fan the pain is real. Irrational, but real. Soldier on GV…they’ll get another shot.

Gary – Glad to see you did a video today after the tough loss. Have a good one!

Tea? Now, if ever, is the time to defiantly suck down some really good juice and look forward to the next match-up when your team can serve a little comeuppance to the Pats. As the MIGHTY Vince Lombardi would say at a time like this:
“The greatest accomplishment is not in never falling, but in rising again after you fall.”
But maybe this one is even better?…
“We didn’t lose the game; we just ran out of time.”
Don Simpson
Hopefully they’re coaching up Mark Sanchez this week. He was simply terrible last night.
Yikes, a little dismayed at some of the comments I am seeing. Gary, I respect the passion you have for the Jets and can only imagine how you are feeling today. It is this same passion that you bring to everything you are involved in that keeps people coming back to this site. I can see how others might find this particular passion hard to understand but I am disappointed that some of my fellow viewers are being so dismissive of something so important to you while they have reaped the rewards of your commitment and passion in other areas.
Hang in there Gary and we will be here when you are ready to return.

Gary as a diehard jet fan last game was hands down the worse loss in JETS history. I put 90% of that loss on the coaching staff. That team was not prepared; they made mistakes on defense, offense and special teams. And what about the confusion on the field, players coming and going missed tackles and missed assignments. Rex Ryan needs to pull his head out of his culo and start being more disciplined starting from his self. And why is it that every time the team comes off more than 7 days rest they are so lethargic? It?s because of the coach, he needs to be less buddy buddy with them and more of a HC. STAGMAN.

after all…….. tomorrow is another day

I feel for you Gary, happens to all teams, you’ll be ok to meet the eagles at the Superbowl, don’t worry.
Glad to see the real side of Gary, true emotions, I respect that.

Too bad Gary, get back to crushing it another day.

Sorry for your Jets Gary. I’m a Niners fan which means I’ve felt like you do today every Monday/Tuesday for the past 8 years.
Randall
Let’s see… Jets LOSE and Raiders WIN…
So this was like a TOTAL reversal for you, huh?
p.s. GO NINERS!!!!

I’m inclined to give this one to him. I was hoping to see a show today, and I really don’t follow sports at all so I find it hard to relate to the emotional attachment, but he at least took a few seconds to explain why there was no show. My biggest gripe about missed shows has always been that it’s rarely ever clear what’s going on. When last week passed with only a single episode, I complained about how there was no warning and no explanation. At least today he made some explanation.

Gary,
“a tad unhealthy,” well put. Aren’t we all.
For what ever it’s worth, the Pats are like the Osmonds of pro football. Like a team crafted by Disney or something.
But……you know, it’s only football. May this be the worst thing that ever happens to you my brother.
The intro to WLTV, which is very well produced, doesn’t have a football in it, or a jets logo. Bring us what we crave.

Castello,
That KILLS man.
Randall
Oh yeah, NCK!! Great ending line…
🙂

Awesome response, karrens. Besides, this vlog is not his “job”. As far as I know, Gary’s job is running Wine Library, not doing an (almost) daily wine rewiew show for Free that admittedly nets them some cash, but probably would not be so “real” if GV didn’t have an actual passioon for da vino…

REALLY? COME ON, REALLY? I have nothing to say after that. 🙁

They would have needed quite a bit of extra time.

Chin up buddy!
You drink tea and I’ll have some wine for ya!
The best is yet to come……..
Cheers!

Big G, I think I’ll save my thoughts for after the Bears, Jets game. Look forward to it.

How old are you Gary? As a Bengals fan, I sat through (in person) the first and second Super Bowl losses to the 49er’s. The second loss was pure pain. But the next day, I was back to regular life. If you are serious about this, then you need counseling if not long term therapy. Otherwise just be honest and say you didn’t have time to do a show.
Sorry to be so blunt.

Gary, I’m glad I don’t get in to Football like you do. That was the most depressing Video I’ve seen you in!
Every Day is a Great Day no mater what! I’m still vertical. That’s great!

GV…Tough loss my man. I just found out that I know the Jet’s defensive coordinator….he’s a guy that I went to high school with. Don’t blame me for the point spread! Gotta feel for Pettine.

Homey….who really cares……it’s just a game. Break out some old Haut Brion and you’ll forget all about it. This is WINELibraryTV, not Jets vs. Whoever and looses TV…. So what…they lost a game. Big deal.
You can’t be that into football to let it affect your show….can you? Look at all these TV personalites…. do they let anything affect them? Thye do the show no matter what.
Tea is a good choice. As someone said, drink wine when you’re happy.
Randall
“Should have rated the Tea”… Hi-Freakin’-larious, winecrazy!!
:D!!

Well…. at least give us something to try. If he told us what tea it was and what the score would be at least we can try some and see if it brings the thunder…. 🙂

Hey, the jets won the first game and the pats the second. They are now even. On to the rest of the season. Tomorrow back to wine.
GV…sorry for your loss…tomorrow is another day…this to shall pass!

After those two overtime squeekers he should celebrate (with Dom Perignon) that they’re not 7-5. What makes us great is how we handle adversity & loss. BTW, a dominate team will, out of necessity, help motivate the lesser teams to rise to their level (“Eat or be eaten” – Iggy Pop). Life is speeding by too quickly to care that much about a game. The odds are better than even that the Jets will lose in the playoffs; if so, should someone take GV’s belt & shoelaces? ;~]
Anonymous
Sorry, Gary. I’m a Pats fans but I feel for ya. This loss will be OK as long as the Jets make the playoffs. Like the Pats big loss to the Browns, this loss for the Jets could wake them up and force them to make adjustments that will benefit them for the rest of the season. We may very well meet again in the post season, so the Jets could get their revenge (although I hope not).

I think he rated it a 64+ by the look on his sad ass face. The show must go on!
