Gary Vaynerchuk recently asked for show suggestions on the WLTV forums and ran with Weston’s idea to taste more Southern French whites. One of Jimkay’s suggestions come through as well! Gary decided to make it more interesting and taste blind!

line of the day – ‘Kinda smells like the back of a restaurant’

Gary was on point as usual with the blind tastings but Mott…what on earth are you talking about. you didn’t like ‘It’s a wonderful life’. That’s one of the best films ever made…and in fact my second favourite film of all time. Watch it again, please, with no distractions, and tell me you didn’t like it.

    That’s it….I’m OUTTA HERE!!!

    That is…by far….my favorite Christmas movie…..and we all watch it as a family every year. I even had an email exchange with the youngest daughter, Zuzu, a couple of years ago.

  • I am hoping the St. Cosme Cotes du Rhone red is equally promising (I picked up that bottle earlier today), I am having fits trying to find the white.

    Anybody know anything about it?

  • good episode, but it seems to me that only a part of southern France is represented…where are the Tursan, the Jurançon (there’s also dry Jurançon!) and other smaller wine areas where surprisingly good wine is made? Or are those not available in USA? A shame really, because there’s much more than Rhône or Languedoc wines!

    QOTD : I can really enjoy an animated movie during Xmas holidays…anyone is better than the xth showing of The sound of music or Bing Crosby’s White Xmas (typical in Belgium where I spend my Xmas).

    QOTD- Christmas Vacation probably

    Went out and bought a few bottles of the St Cosme and I really like it. My go to white recently has been the Treana White Blend which is Viognier/Marseine (sorry for my spelling) and this is very similar.
