Gary Vaynerchuk meets up with the second group, including Smokenmirrors, SS Chris, Kahuna, and Brooklyn Paul. They all picked Napa Cabernets and tasted through these four high end reds. This is the second of four shows.

    Again with the MLB questions, don’t know, don’t care. Good to see all of the guys I have just read their stuff for years live. SS Chris should get the credit for the spreadsheet. He’s the one who started it and that has to be a lot of work. Have heard a real Vaynerpazz in a while though. Last Napa Cab was Whitehall Lane reserve 2002 and I enjoyed it. Been waiting for my Dunn Howell Mountains to come around but they never seem to even after 12-15 years still tannic beasts.

    I’m loving the Vayniac shows! I know what it’s like to create lasting friendships within a forum. Ive been on a cigar forum for 6 years and have created friendships that will last a lifetime. I feel the same way about here. I tried the WL Forum but didn’t feel that welcomed, maybe a bad vibe, but those guys are great. For wine, this show and the guys within Disqus are fantastic!

    1. As a Giants fan, I don’t care about the AL until it’s time to repeat as champs!

    2. SS Chris should get the ratings changed back ONLY if the SS in Chris stands for SpreadSheet.

    3. In a cage match, SASHA, hands down. Mott’s a lover, not a fighter. He needs to throw some Captain Lou (RIP) rubber bands on that beard of his and stay at ringside. Gary, you can bring a foreign object with you, and it wont matter. Sasha IS a foreign object. The apple fell from the tree, not the other way around.

    4. Haven’t had many Napa cabs lately. I’ve got some that should be about ready now, so maybe in a few months I’ll have a better answer.

    I like the way you talk Governor.
    btw we brought a 03 Martin Ray to the dinner afterwards. Gave it a little (1hr) bottle decant, found it to be somewhat muted but then again the wines being poured were pretty much all spectacular…will revisit this again soon

    Before I answer any questions let me just say that of the 500+ episodes I’ve watched, this is by far my favorite! It’s been great chatting with everyone on today’s episode in the forums since I joined in November, and I wish I had sooner!

    Fantastic format. I like the fact that I get to “meet” some of the people who helped make Gary continue on his road to 1000. SS should have trademarked “Vayniac” so Gary would have to pay royalties. I guess he’s paying by staying on for another 1000 episodes.

    I read somewhere recently that people who drink wine regularly are less likely to be overweight. It wasn’t clear if those polled were substituting wine drinking for actual meals.
