    D-Rod middle aged, that is funny. I think the range of the crew went from mid 20’s to 60+ (once the next few shows air).

  • ups and downs of fashion. I guess all wine prices will go up, since we are approaching the point of more demand than actual availability.
    It is fascinating that a high sugar wine can have low alcohol level.
    Should I have bought a Monte Bello? I was a at store today that hade a case of magnums of that wine, but I passed and bought some CdP instead.
    QOTD:Yes, huh, Do you really want me list them? Yes.

    Btw, my QOTD was intended to be “which austrian rieslings have you had recently and liked, and if so which ones?”

    It just didn’t come out that way……………..lol

    Good show, an interesting mix of wines today. Enoyed this group of guests, they kept the focus on the wine along with some light banter. QOTD’s: Lots of German wines lately, one that stands out in my memory was a Schmitt Sohne Rheinhessen 1991 Bornheimer Adelberg Kabinett in 375 format. Good stuff yet was inexpensive back in the day.

    Understandable, Camera pressure 🙂 If you put it that way, I would say not much, tasted 6 at a wine tasting last year from one producer that I did’nt care for.

    That 07 Ridge Monte Bello was a real beauty. Best wine I had all day, and that includes some real cult producers later that night.

    good episode, and a lot of respect to the chooser of the $45 bottle.

    Trouty must be taller than Mott from the camera angle/perspective/eye view.

    And K-murph may go down in history as the best videographer in WLTV history!

    I loved GV’s face when nobody spit on the first wine. They did dump thought.

    QOTD 1 – No.

    QOTD 2 – I do not agree.

    QOTD 3 – I do not drink Austrian Riesling.

    QOTD 4 – The only two times I drink sparkling wines are to celebrate or if I’m in a tasting room that has some.

    The thing I liked about this show, btw this was definitely the coolest group of guys yet, was the Riesling conversation. There was a lot of good information there. Thank you.
