EP 1000 Episode 1,000

Gary Vaynerchuk has finally made it to episode 1,000 of Wine Library TV! It’s been an amazing ride since that day in February 2006, with great guests, amazing (and sometimes awful) wines, as well as a lot of Jets talk. Today, the main focus is a huge thank you to all the Vayniacs who helped make this community…and a huge announcement from Gary.

  • Thank you Gary for bangin out 1000 shows. I never thought it was 100% narcissistic! You earned my respect with your honesty whether it helped or hurt the bottom line. There are some bottles in my cellar because of you. You helped me to further appreciate the old world. But we still have work to do. On to the daily grape!

  • Gary, I have to admit I’m a bit sad to see WLTV go, but also excited at same time for you, daily grape and all that’s to come !! You’ve had a huge impact on my life (I won an Apple TV back in ’08). Crush It and now the Thank You Economy continue to change the way I look at the changing wine world. I’ll see you on the Daily Grape, looking forward to you still “Bringing the Thunder”, just on a different format. Cheers ~ Max

  • I am a fairly new vaniac only been watching since 2009 but have really enjoyed WLTV.
    I figured that 1000 was going to be the end. I really liked reading the comments after the seeing the episode and I wish everyone the best. Will look at dailygrape and not try to compare it.

    I have not watched the episode yet, but I felt compelled to comment anyway. It is obvious by all the comments how much this show means to people, so I will just say thank YOU Gary and congratulations on all that you have accomplished before and during WLTV.

    I also would like to thank this community, because without posters like many on this site it would not have been nearly as compelling, informative and entertaining as it was. Everyone has contributed to this forum in an individual nature that made it unlike anything I have plaid my humble part in.

    I look forward to more compelling and educational debate, discussion and GV’s magnanimous personality in the new format. CHEERS TO ALL VAYNIACS AND 1000 EPISODES OF WLTV!

    I’ve always liked your 30min episodes, hopfully WLTV does nothing under 30mins. How can you go wrong with Nicholas Joly for an hr, or that German Master of Wine, or any of those awesome wine guest, or 996, 997, 998, 999

  • I have watched every episode since December 2008, and most from before then. Episode 1000 is the first time I shed a tear while watching WLTV, because (for the first time) even though I’ve met Gary twice, I’m ashamed that I have only commented a couple of times through the last 600 episodes.
    I have grabbed “Mark” at Daily Grape, and though my life is full of 10-14 hours of hustle every day, I resolve here & now, to comment regularly.

    Had to have a giggle when you said that WLTV will become an interview only show, am sure it won’t be too long before it’ll be whatever show fits the extended format. Either way, keep up the good work

  • Dear Gary, this is the first time ever I end up a show in WLTV and I feel sad, I’m not joking…
    Thanks for all the smiles and laugh you gifted us in these journey.
    This is not the end as you said, and we are all glad for it, but obviously this is a turning point and in someway the things will be different going on, who knows if even better or worst, but different.
    I will personally run to dailygrape in a minute but let me thank you once again for everything you teached us and to have changed if not everybody’s at least MY Wine World.

    Been here since the early 100s. Appreciate the insider’s take on the wine world and the bottles you have pointed us to.
    My daughter wants to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando, I want to visit Wine Library.
