    Great show…yes I am a lurker (even though I watch your episodes through Google Reader). Kermit is incredible. I love his wine selections and I find it interesting that other wine negociants (importers..) are musicians as well (Eric Solomon comes to mind).

    Cant' wait for the second episode.

    Gary, as a long time lover of WLTV, I've been a little disappointed the past month and a half but I gotta say, this episode definitely brings back the thunder. Amazing guest, amazing show… Kermit Lynch's story is absolutely phenomenal.

    Hey Gary I love your show! Im trying to stop lurking, so here i go. i just got into wine 8 months ago and there is no looking back for me! The first grape i fell in love with is the nebbiolo. So that said, i have searched all your barbaresco, barolo shows! They were great! I would love to watch you drink a Riserva from Produttori del Barbaresco especially a 01' Rabaja , 04' Ovello, or 05 Asili. Would also love to see you drink Ranato Ratti's Marcensco barolo 05'. If not just keep opening fun stuff, i love to watch you drink and debunk the myth surrounding some of the biggest and baddest bottles in the wine world! Keep it up!

    Gary, what a great episode!! I am really looking forward to part 2. You have been on a roll lately with hosting outstanding guests. Brian Loring and Kermit Lynch are 2 of my favorite people in the wine industry and both have great stories on how they ended up being so involved with wine. I?ve always found that I have aligned closely with Kermit?s palate and wish that more of his selections were available around where I live. Thanks for a great show. It was definitely one of my favorite shows that you have done.

    Hi Gary,

    What a great man,what a terrific show. I really agree with his comment that in France food and wine is part of a general culture. In Meze in the Languedoc for instance they “grow” oysters,coquilles (shellfish) and mussels and everybody drinks picpoul de pinet from the region with them. And everybody all around France knows this and they do likewise. I like these traditions very much. On the other hand a fresh look on things can lead to new great wine-food combinations. This culture can stand in the way of a open view towards wine. That is also why I like the Thunder show,because your perspective isn't tainted by this European tradition. And mine is.
