As for the question of the day….hmmmm. I would like to share a glass of wine with Jesus…I’d have a lot to talk about and Jesus seems to have loved wine so I’m sure he wouldn’t mind….

QOD: I’d really, REALLY like to have a glass of wine with my old man, who died of a sudden massive heart attack in 1999. He never got to meet his granddaughters, and that kills me to this day. It’s his love of wine that rubbed off on me.

Not only do we analyze and critique the wine, by the end of the evening we have solved most of the world’s problems. My wife and I don’t share the same tastes in wine, but we have been known to sip a few margaritas. That sounds real good about now.

qotd: my grandfather. i made wine with him every year growing up, and always had a blast. in retrospect, and as an after the fact wine lover, i truly wish i could repeat one of those september days. i’ll never forget it though… awesome times.
