Almost thought we weren’t getting an episode today. I’ve heard good things about N.C. wines. I’m even thinking about buying some land up there for future growing opportunities. Climate change is going to shift optimal growing areas and it seems southern Canada and the mid atlantic could be the future.

Do all of the grapes in the Childress wine actually come from NC?

$40 bones for the wine is almost as ballsy as ADVERTISING CLONE% as the #1 selling Pinot Noir at WL! Now that takes balls!

Good ep. GV – the Childress Cab Franc was interesting. But for $25, why not get a likely similar flavor profile from an Aussie wine for 1/3 the price?
Nevertheless, it sounds like the Childress wines would be interesting to try if they were readily available.

Pretty cool week you have designed here (tasting wines from some of the lesser-known states/regions)

    BRING BACK THE THUNDERCATS GARY!

How could you hate Michael Jordan? Oh wait, you’re not from… I live in… OK. I get it. Because the Knicks never advanced past them in the playoffs. By the way, thanks for Joakim Noah.

Can’t wait to see Michigan wines.

I second John Starks for the QOTD.

  • I see the jets bucket, but you aren’t talking football anymore, and the Jets beard is gone? Were you worried about having to wait 18 months to shave, and looking like Rip Van Winklechuk? (I’m not talking sh–, because I’m from LA and we don’t even have a pro home team. Rams and Raiders are traitors, abandoning LA like they did.

Thanks for reviewing NC wines. Just seems interesting. I’ve never tried any, and it’s interesting to see what our states are up to, besides the top seeds like Cal, Wash, Ore, NY…

Original QOTD: I hate Michael Jordan, too, Gary. He beat my Pacers year in and year out and robbed Reggie Miller of an NBA title.

Also, thanks for the shout-out, it just shows that you actually care about your fans
