  • QOTD: NO, and, NO. I will…

BTW, is it the first time that Gary forgot to pour out the wine which he used to wash the glass??

If it is a Yeah…we may need to try that Riesling one more time, at least, on more swirl…because the kangaroo Bordeaux red blend might have added weight and complexity in to the German effort…

I’ve had 2 Alsace Rieslings and one German. Right now, my palate doesn’t like the sugar, so I’m staying away from these for a while.

Liked the format today for a change of pace. It’s kind of how I drink wine, whatever suits my mood.

QOTD: Yes & No. I have had exact 2 German Rieslings, but I do have another in my basement that is a “special occasion” bottle: Johannishof Riesling Kabinett Rheingau Johannisberg V 2004. I plan on cellaring that for a few more years.

Yes – and yes! I like them a lot but am still trying to get used to the sweeter ones. For some reason sugar in wine really turns me off, even when it’s well done.

Need to try more though because it seems to offer a tremendous range of flavors that could pair well with many foods.

    Thanks for another great show!
