  • I think I’m in this boat since EP 160 or so…

December 07 and now I’m totally addicted. I’ve been telling everyone I know who likes wine about it, too.

    Reindeer butt? You kill me.

QOTD First episode I saw was the decanting episode with the Amon Ra Shiraz, which was forwarded to me by a friend. Then I lost the email and it took a while for me to find WLTV, but have been hooked for a few months now.

I didn’t start watching until last August, when the Slate article appeared. I had never heard of WLTV before that.

J CRAZY CRUSH GARY GOING BACK ON SNIFFY SNIFF BUT NO GO BACK ON MOTT LINK IT UP T-SHIRT. CRUUUXXHHH INCONSISTENCY!!!

QOTD: Back from the mid 50’s I believe.
Seriously though, you canned Mott Link It Up after one day and gave into sniffy sniff like a little girl. If you’re gonna be weak to Vayniac pressure be consistant with it. Sure, the initial one day reaction to Mott Link It Up was weaker than expected but over the last couple weeks haven’t we tried and true Vayniacs, the crack in your pipe, the plasma in your blood and the generals charging forth to change the wine world shown you that we love Mr. Mott and would like nothing more than to have his effort of tears and blood for us immortalized on a T-Shirt?

Tell me if I am the only one. If so then I’ll shut up, but “link it up” will not be with us forever lest we include it in the annals of commercialized WLTV paraphernalia.

  • I love your show Gary, they are awesome! I am not experienced with wines, but your shows really get me interested to know more about wines I drink. I am going to post videos in my blog, so I definitely have something to learn from you.

Thank god Sniffy Sniff is back. I thought you were gonna go mainstream. Colapsing and going smell would be like the main stream wine line.

    Keep it real.

The 29th? If I still lived on the east coast I would be there, but I can’t make it.

QOTD: I believe the first ep I saw was the Pizza Wine ep. #322 I think. I followed the link from diggnation.

QOTD: I started watching WLTV right around April of 2007. I’ve been a big fan ever since! I checked out doing the Skybus thing from Columbus, OH to NY–pretty decent prices–for the big ass Vayniac party. Gary, are you ready to handle the masses??? YOU bring the thunder. Thanks! I need to take a pic with the wristband. Guilty as charged LURKER! Be well.

First episode was #56 when Robert Mondavi Jr was the guest. Like most Vayniacs, I haven’t missed an ep since then. Oddly, I told a couple of friends about it and they all responded that it was an entertaining show but none of them have joined the Vaynernation! (Unless they just don’t want to admit it.) Keep up the good work Gary – see you on the 29th.
