Good to see sniffy sniff hasn’t been buried. It really is a part of the show.

QOTD – 11/07. BUT…I’ve seen every (and I mean every) episode from #1 to the present, #387.

Now, time to go check out #125 again.

Great episode, gotta try those out, love Patz&Hall – great place for a tasting as well.
QOTD: March 2007, it’s been a great ride!

  • Doc Johnson

Been watching for a couple months with a few earlier sporadic watchings with the encouragement of diggnation

QOTD: I don’t remember exactly, I think it was probably in March ’07.

  • QOTD: Well I think it was around episode 290 something but I have watched them all now and continually go threw them again and again for remembering:D cause after all this is about diffrent styles of wine and I always try to get some of the wines that you have on the show to taste them and watching the show to see if I agree or not:P but after all it has me getting more confident to trust my own palate, so thanks Gary:)

    GARY,
Yeah so SNIFFY SNIFF WILL STAY…If you weren’t gonna say it I was.
My wife was gonna quit watching the show if you stopped saying it.
    What’s the next threat, “Let’s Take a Whirl” ?

    QOTD:
I started watching in Aug 2007.
At first 1-2 shows a week.
By November I was hooked, everyday is not enough,

Oh and let’s see, I have turned on at least 20 people to the show since then.

Gary, thank goodness you came to your senses and decided to keep “sniffy sniff” … catch phrases like that and “link it up” and “big-ass glass” are totally indispensable.

Nice to see that there are still some Cali pinots that are more than hype.

QoTD: I’ve been watching since Feb of 2007.

Packers by 2 points on a missed NY Giants field goal attempt in the final seconds,

OH Yeah, WIDE RIGHT LIKE GARY SAID.

  • Anthony L.

Love that the sniffy sniff is back.

QOTD: Started watching the Thundershow at episode 166. Been hooked ever since.

Gary, thank you thank you thank you for finally wanting to do some burg shows this year. Could you maybe change one of the 05s to doing a 96 or a 99 show so that the viewers can see a show about burgs that are just coming into their drinking window? that said, I’m happy though, you haven’t done a real big time burg show yet(sorry, borgone’s don’t count), so hopefully we’ll see some burg love this week

QOTD: I forget which episode it was when I started watching, but I know one of the first episodes was the tensley episode. my good friend grant kept telling me to watch the show after we’d been to WL a bunch of times when I lived back in the dirty jerz, and so I finally started watching. I’m real glad I did

P.S. I almost forgot … I tried Marquis Philips Holly’s Blend with pizza today, and it was a pretty great pairing, particularly with the artichoke pesto pie. Who would have thought: Pizza + white wine … Glad someone’s around to suggest things like this! Thanks, Gary! (If anyone is wondering what the hell I’m talking about, see Ep 322.)

QotD: I started watching WLTV when you were reviewing a handful of Pinot Noirs last year… sometime around the mid-late 200’s, as far as episode numbers go.

Kinda strange how things can come full circle sometimes. 🙂
