Gary, I thought a Premier Cru was a step above a 1st Cru. Or is that only for red burg. Some info on the rating system would be helpful. I was not into the taste of the white burgs I have tried. I still have some and will have to try again.

It would be cool if you could do a show about fortified wine from the roussilon and banyuls regions. Can you score some GV?

Great job. Picking an area (obscure) and showing a few wines is what I like to see.

I will look for one of these wines next time I head out to shop, if I can find one that is reasonably priced I will try it!

Very exciting show! Thanks for bringing the new thunder daily. Coming into the wine world during the ABC (anything but Chardonany) era, I have not had much Chardonnay. Most of my white wine experience has been riesling, sauvignon blanc, and random blends. The chards I did have were new world. The bigger and oakier, the better the rating type of thing. I have recently asked myself, what makes a Chardonnay great if it isn’t really oaky or rich? Can it match the aroma of a good sauvignon blanc, or the ageability of a great riesling? I think this show has at least steered me in the right direction. Thanks Gary.

What am I waiting for? I’m a little low on cash since I just spent $50k on a wine cellar! No, just kiddin, what would really slow me down is the price. I think I have to buy less wine during the week, so I can afford a couple bottles of more expensive wines. Thanks for the episode!
