Happy 2 year anniversary to WLTV, GV, Mott, and the rest of the crew! I really hope this show and the movement will last for many years to come. The success of your family and business is an inspiration and I think we all agree that having such a passionate, knowledgeable, yet humble guy as our wine guide is what we all had hoped for, especially if you are part of the younger crowd just getting into wine. I’m really inspired to take my liking for fine to a whole new level this year so that it’d be worthy enough to be called a passion. I would definitely like to start a tasting club and perhaps see if I could arrange to have you come and speak in front of my colleagues at the company I work for…we got like 6000 people at our plant site, i’d imagine i could get at least 100 people…

  • SKN

No, THANK YOU and Happy Birthday. Congrats on all that you’ve accomplished.

SOTD: The Third Thirsty Thursday of the month is on my calendar!

I am grateful for how often you remind me that the true riches in life are not silver and gold but rather family and friends. Thanks Gary.

YEAH BABY! Rock the vino like it’s 05 all over again.

Thank you GV for what you do on WLTV. Without you simply showing us the tremendous variety of wines throughout the world, must of us would simply stay within a comfort zone I think. With your almost daily teachings, Professor Vaynerchuk, of the Wine Library Institute, you have taken us by the hand and demonstrated a wonderful wine world.

PS. Sorry for being an lurker at times.

Great show Gary and congrats on the 2nd anniversry/birthday of WLTV. Because of you I am enjoying my wine experience so much more. As I mentioned a couple days ago; today I purchased a 2005 Saint Aubin 1er Cru Les Frionnes Domaine Jomain white burgundy. It rolled in at 29 bones and I am planning an awesome sea bass meal to serve with it tomorrow evening. Don’t let me down GV. This wine better rock with my meal. My meager military retired pay can’t afford too many of these vinos so they better be good. Ah, who am I kidding, I will still love you even if the wine sucks. Cheers from San Diego

    Long time lurker, first comment.

I would like to thank Gary, and everyone involved in WLTV (including fellow vayniacs), for making this program. Gary, you are honestly one of the biggest inspirations I can think of. I wasn’t interested in wine at all before watching, but the passion you have for wine could convert anyone. I’m only 19, so I’m still waiting for my first legal sip of wine. I will most likely be as baffled as your brother in his first tastes 😉 I admire the passion you have for what you do, you’re like the Jim Cramer of wine.

  • CW

keep ’em coming. thanks for your investment.

    Happy Anniversary WLTV!

I emailed Matt in case I’m the “Scott” that won the Apple TV. I’ve been posting comments for so long I never think about the name that appears anymore. If it is me, I’ll see if I can’t be a tad more creative with my screen name from here on out. If its not me, then I’m sticking with it in protest. 🙂

GV, Thank you for encouraging me to get out there & expand my pallate. 3 years ago, I was completely intimidated to walk into a wine shop and buy French wine. I honestly had NO idea what any of it meant. I didn’t know Burgundy from Bordeaux. Between watching your show, talking to friends (who know more about wine than I do) and just trying different things, I have come to greatly enjoy wine. And as you always say, this has made me enjoy my family and friends even more. Thanks GV, you are the man!

GV, I’ve turned my habit of watching your show, by my lonesome. To an out right family affair. Your efforts are appreciated. I learn a bit more about what is out there in the wine world. My family gets a kick out of your play with words. I’ve transformed some friends and my sisters into Vayniacs. Starting to make attempts to bring a wine tasting weekend to my friends.

It is small, but I’m sure that is how you started. 😉

I’ve never experience the level of passion that you bring to the table. I am glad you do what you do. Gary, keep the passion going; keep the thunder rolling. We love what you do.

    GG, GV

    Gary and Crew,

Happy 2nd anniversary! And thank youfor all that you do for us. i’ve learned so much from watching and enjoy letting others know about this knowledgeable show. Many more shows to come!

  • HawkeyeOeno

The most impressed i have been with the wine community lately…..while at a local tasting i was talking with a few people for the first time, one of whom was blind. The owner happened to have a bottle with Brail on it…talk about expanding the wine world, i hope this year we can see ways of expanding wine to not just people drink other spirits or who can’t afford a good bordeaux, but those who we have not even thought of bringing into the wine community.
