Had alot of red Austrian wines in the last couple of months – bought some Zweigelt and St. Laurent.

I’ve had some kick ass frankovka red wines in the Czech Republic.. can never find it around here though. Loved it when I lived there though.

Never had Austrian wine. I really want to find some now.

Great show, Austria’s wines are vastly underated and even though I have not had a ton except a few from Hillinger, bauer, and a few of the other.

QOTD: What is your go to non-major varietal?

This is a tough one for me to answer, but probably Petite Sirah unless I was in the mood for a nice Charborno/Bonarda.
