    QOTD: Here are some suggestions (all available from winelibrary.com) in no particular order:

    * Domaine De La Garrigue Cotes Du Rhone Cuvee Romaine 2006 (solid cote du rhone rouge)

    * Chateau Pesquie Les Terrasses 2006

    * Cusumano Insolia 2007 (A rude Sicilian waitor in Siracusa pushed this wine on me; turned out to be a decent white wine)

    * Allan Scott Sauvignon Blanc 2007

    * Goldwater Sauvignon Blanc 2007

  • Good show. I’m always a fan of finding values.

    Also, the baseball cards are so awesome. And who doesn’t love David Wells. I saw him in a bar when the Yankees were here playing the Mariners and he was super cool, totally nice, and called my roommate an idiot for telling him that he could hit his splitty (Wells doesn’t throw a splitty).

    QOTD: Snoqualmie Merlot (2005). Very solid, and for $7-8, it can’t be beat. I have tasting notes somewhere in my blog. Search through to find it. 🙂

    Oh, and a grand-puy-lacoste for ?15!

    And, (though I’d just throw this in) I got a bottle, yes a bottle, of lynch-bages 96 for ?50!!
    It’s usually ?185! That was crazy!

    Hey gary, whatever happened to that thank you of the day thing you were doing a while ago?

    QOTD: PELLEHAUT “HARMONIE” BLANC & Chiroulet Côtes de Gascogne Blanc

    Good show, Gary. The best sub-$13 wine I’ve had lately was Francois Montand Blanc de Blancs. It’s a very good French sparkling wine, especially for the price.
