Cool show Gary !

QOTD: I had a shiraz from the cotes du rhone region with some pasta and fish eggs (an italian dish) and i loved it.

I like the format of the one-bottle-show, i feel i know about a lot of wines after over 500 shows, but it seems like i m just scratching the surface. Knowledge is good !

QOTD: Domaine La Garrigue Vacqueyras. Nice affordable play….

Like the show’s format – especially when you are taping multiples.

QOTD: The last Rhone wine that rocked my world was the St. Cosme Gigondas that I had at the WL Super Tasting. It was my wine of the night. Ian agreed!

I like this format but wouldn’t want you to do it every single day. Maybe once a week. Since I know you like the sound of alliteration, I suggest “One-Wine Wednesday!”

QOTD: Chateau Pesquie would have been the last one – but the wine before that is one that I think is worth mentioning. Just before that, though I had a bottle of l’Ame Soeur 2006 Terres de Viennae Vin de Pays, and the bottle was absolute magic…

Can now watch an entire show while waiting for water to boil. You’re pumping out so many shows it hard to keep up.

The one wine format is good from time to time. It makes it easier to keep up with the latest episodes. I’d prefer the number of wines on a show vary from time to time.

QOTD: Besides some Cornas, around a dozen of CdP and a lot of côtes-du-rhône, i drank two great rhpone valley wine of smaller appelation:

QOTD: two rhone wines taht I’ve had recently that have been a lot of fun was a 98 Roger Sabon Cuvee Pretige CdP and a 00 Guigal Brune et Blonde. The Brune et Blonde was definitely on the young side and could still use another 5 years, but the Sabon was really beautiful and expressive and just starting to really get into its drinking window

Definitely a good show…I love watching it for entertainment purposes mostly so one wine is fine. I get the most enjoyment out of watching you with guests. You have a great charisma…and a kind heart so seeing how you interact with people is always enjoyable…I dig the info you spill…and I like how you keep things fresh.

QOTD: Vieux Telegraph White Chateauneuf du Pape….it rocks!!!!

Had a Le Chevrefeuilles Domaine la Remejeanne which i enjoyed very much as well as most the Rhone wines I’ve tried, although our selection here is very limited at best. Enjoyed the format, it would also be interesting to compare same varietal/s or blend by say different countries or appellations, that should provide a guide on which wines to choose based on our palate.

I haven’t commented in a long while…….I especailly like the shows with data and content of the wine region in question.

Also, shows in the 20 or so minute range seem best for me.

I love the one-wine-per-show format. Perfer getting more details on one wine then almost none when you do mutli-wines.

i prefer multi-wine shows, how about a monster fruit bomb showdown.

We liked the education, but prefer the multi wine format. It’s also fun to have the action figures and talk about football, so just keep doing what you’re doing. It was nice for a change, but you always seem to change things up now and again. Can’t wait to see who you have on Wed/Thursday.

QOTD: Domaine Charvin 2003

I was fortunate to attend the Tribeca Grill Walk Around Rhone tasting in August which included a vertical tasting of Domain Charvin and a number of other Northern Rhone vintages.

This format was great. I liked the additional information and prefer the blog in the 12 – 18 minute range.

uuuuugh Gary stop, your relentless, i cant buy this secret pack, AAAAAAH. I want to so bad but i gotta save some cash for my vacation this November, i swear ill buy the first secret pack after i come back … after Christmas. My birthday is the 1st of January, so ill buy the “New Years” secret pack your gonna put together cause i know you will.

qotd; i like this format, it works. but i like that there isn’t really a format too. some days its you and wine in a chair, sometimes your on a couch, sometimes with a person or at a different place, sometimes its not even wine. that’s the format i like best.

Hi Gary – I like this format a lot. In fact, if I had a video show about something, I would focus on just one product per show, in depth. Also the 10-12 minute show length fits into ones schedule more easily.
QOTD: I do love the wines of the southern Rhone! Will get up into northern Rhone wines some day as well! My fave up to this point has to have been the Domaine de Duerre Vinsobres Cotes du Rhone Villages, which is I believe a typical GSM blend.

Try the Chateau Segrieres, Henry de Lanzac Lirac,, always a favorite for me..

QOTD1: I’m a huge fan of Rhone wines. Recently I’ve enjoyed wines from Vinsobres, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, and yes….Lirac. I only have one Lirac bottle in the cellar right now, 2005 Lirac, Chateau de Segries, Henri de Lanzac.

I don’t drink CdP or Cornas (spell?), $$$.
