haha thats badass. candy bars and wine. i want to find the monteflores. i think thats the next one im going to purchase. thats sucks you had to shave the beard was coming along great.
those candy bars are good but what about white chocolate? i like butterfingers hersheys has good white chocolate too. that would be an intersting pair. but with what?

that’s a tough one, cause my favorite candy is not technically a bar: reese’s pb cup. if that doesn’t count, it’s a toss-up between 100 grand and snickers.

Nice combos but what about the dark chocolate????

Fun show Gary.

Although I am not a huge chocolate fan, my favorite candy bar Reeses. I prefer white chocolate to dark chocolate.

Enjoyed the episode. My ticket from Sunday’s game got soaked as it was in my pocketbook which was not covered by attractive rain gear like I was.

QOTD: I was all about the Reeses PB cups and Whatchamacallit bar when I was younger. I am still into the reeses but now my taste is more to the dark side. Dark chocolate with either sea salt or spicy peppers rock.

Interesting show. I usually prefer a darker chocolate when pairing.

QOTD: Anything Versoge (sp). They have the funkiest choices: Bacon and curry, cinnamon and black pepper, etc, etc. These aren’t the exact the options, but you get the idea. I rarely, if ever, eat supermarket candy bars; they’re like McDonalds to me. Gimme a high cocoa, belgian milk chocolate or something really unusual any day.

Really a fun show! Looking forward to more interesting “food” / wine pairings. QOTD: In younger days, when my teeth were stronger, BIG HUNK bars. Probably would pull a few teeth out by the roots if I ate one of those now! These days I’m going with either the classic Twix or the new Take 5 candy bar.
