Nicholas Joly, what a brilliant and enlightened man, loved these episodes! I’d even say my 2 favorite episodes of Winelibrary ever.

Great Show! I love it when you have legends on the show, and then they turn out to be humble, fun, and interesting people. And yes, I am happy with wine most of the time these days, I still get a klunker every once in a while.

QOTD: The wines make me happy when I drink them. Seriously, if I spend more time with a wine and give it more attention, especially when I’m drinking it with a small group of people, I enjoy it more, so in those cases much of the time I am happy with the wine I drink. Most of Gary’s recommendations are excellent.

I feel like this episode is as brilliant as caddyshack, and anything after this episode will look like caddyshack two.

Yes, even if there’s a bit more of a headache involved in said wine reaching me than maybe there ought to be.

But overall, yes. I am fortunate.

Been watching for almost 9 months now – best two episodes ever! Loved the conversation as it was very entertaining and I learned a ton. What an awesome way to spend 40 glorious minutes!!

M. Joly is an absolutely wonderful guest! I love his energy, his enthusiasm and his ideas. I’m going to study biodynamics further now.

QOTD: Yes, I do enjoy the wines I drink. As my palate continues to grow, I remind myself to stay open minded and try new things. I definitely want to try some of M. Joly’s wines. I hope that I can find them.

Wonderful episodes very interesting topic. I have limited experience, I’ve tasted some of the Cotuuri Wines (The Zinfindel, Pinot Noir and the Carignane)and I think that with my limited palate I could not truly appreciate them. For me they ran from very good to undrinkable (very syrupy, heavy).

Another lurker out of the woodwork for this one, after about 150 shows. This was my favorite show, and that is saying something. M. Joly is a breath of fresh air and this was very educational, as well as entertaining. Really great.

Episodes 628&629 were awesome, they really opened my mind. Are there any USA wineries using biodynamic method in their production.

QOTD: I am fairly pleased, not truly happy, I feel that there is still much to taste and learn and try in my lifetime, so I must say as of today, yes I am getting happier with the wines as I taste more and more.

qotd: Yes and No. I guess it depends on the mood im in, and whom I am drinking wine with and if its any good or not.The quality of wine I drink is hit and miss I mean I wish I could spend 80$ for a bottle of biodynamic wine, Heck even the stuff from Farmstead Wines which I have had that made me stop dead in a room at a wine tasting event was awesome but the price for what I make per hour / per year makes me say no to more then a couple of bottles which makes me say No to am I happy with wine. But yes because the wine I do have I can enjoy with a friend or family (Tho it probably is destroying our earth which sucks)

I really enjoyed this show, but I am a wine geek! Nicholas is the kind of people that made me want to get in the wine business, I am fascinated with gentlemen like him, Randall Grahm and Mike Grgich.
