    QOTD#1 I enjoyed the pomerol I have had.

    QOTD#2 I think Danny Gokey is going to win (good vocals and the likable personality) although maybe Adam Lambert the rocker guy though he has sick 80’s hard rock vocals. Check back in two weeks.

    QOTD #2: I haven’t watched Idol since Sanjaya was robbed.

    Pretty Cool that you did the show from the GV secret lair. I also like that change up with the short episode. We have been getting a lot of longer episodes. It felt like a little bit of info overload. Excited to see what is going to be on the facebook page.

I watched episode #621 yesterday (http://tv.winelibrary.com/2009/02/10/a-young-burgundy-tasting-episode-621/) after not having checked in for a while and I was once again reminded that you’re the best source of *interesting* and reliable wine education I’ve found.

    QOTD1: I’m fond of Pomerol, but I tend to like St. Emilion a bit more, especially from a QPR standpoint.

I guess it’s the Burgundy of Bordeaux in terms of small vineyards and mega-expensive wines. Not tasted many, but a good one that’s not too pricey is Chateau Beauregard. Here in the UK you can get the 2004 for around £28 (about $40).

    I’ve never seen American Idol.

    Trying to decide when to drink it. Never had one.

    Four Birthdays in our family next month; that sounds like a good reason to try it.

    Did another blind tasting last Sunday @ our grandson’s birthday party.
    Did 5 < $15 a bottle; French reds. Really tuff to give them a score.
    But it was fun…..it is very tough to do though.
