QOTD 2) A great movie with a flabby mid palate: lord of the rings … any of them.

QOTD 3) I love smoked meat sandwiches. Montreal smoked meat sandwiches with a pickle on rye with a cotts black cherry soda.

Gary, great show, have been watching for over a year now…im a server at a grillhouse|winebar and thought it would be awesome if, instead of the sweatbands, you had those rubber bracelets like the “livestrong” ones, just thought it would be kind of neat for your fans that way we could show a suttle appreciation while at work and maybe even spread the thunder that way…QOTD: simply put…M.C. HAMMER “Too legit, too legit to quit…hay haaaaaay” and that awesome hand gesture he started hahahahahaha love the show man

Great show…Brunello’s are one of my favorite wines…of all the great Brunello’s I have tasted over the years, they typically have an earthy/mushroom taste at their core…maybe its just me. Can’t wait to try a few of these 2004’s. Keep it flabby brother!!

OK, but come on dude… GET A COPYEDITOR for this site!!!! It’s spelled “Brunellos”… the word is PLURAL, NOT POSSESSIVE. So there’s no apostrophe. Gah. I see stuff like that all the time here, and it drives me crazy. The end, sorry man!

Great show gary. I’ve been so busy lately but I’m glad I finally found time to catch up on the winelibrarytv (despite your slight absence). It seems you have a great new energy again. Oh yeah, a thought came to mind when you mentioned bacon, perhaps a show on wine with breakfast foods some day?

#Mari: what Gary and crew are saying is that it’s all about what the Brunelli possess. Vino is possessive, my girl! No one says “brunellos” as that merely abuses the Italian (not to mention the English ear, as it comes off sounding like “nose”). V’Chuk was legit in using the apostrophe because it’s all about possessin’ the good stuff. The man said it’s “the little nice brown one” … as in “the little nice brown one possesses…”, as in all the Brunelli deserve some respect.

Loved the show! Liked the length too – much easier to get time to look at something running for the 15 minute mark!

Legit – I just take it at face value a concatenated version of legitimate. Perhaps a version of the word legitimate with forcefulness. It’s so legit, it won’t let you not know about it.

I really must try some Brunello’s one day, but with all such things the massive price differences with some of the wines available down here combined with the inevitable different experiences to be had as a result, makes me a little concerned that I won’t like ’em for the wrong reasons and go the whole once bitten twice shy route…

QOTD 1: Small talk is like foreplay for the mouth, necessary to get a good convo going.

QOTD 2: Mad Max the Road Warrior. The part with the weird people at the oil refinery. Actually, the whole movie was weird, and kinda boring but you just had to keep watching it.

QOTD 3: Legit, according to the merriam-webster has been around since 1908. My conclusion, it is an essential part of the english language and should be used anytime formal conversation gets to stuffy.

Like I told you, I am a new fan of the show so of course I had to check out the old episode of the Brunellos. Although they sound like lovely wines, I agree with other people in that it would be nice if we could see some recession friendly wines.

Awesome episode gary, i just got back from a Barolo and Brunello tasting, Empson Imports, i believe. New releases on the 04’s, had some brunates, cannubi’s and bussia. Mind altering on the cannubi, had to sit down and rethink my speel when i try talking people into a barolo, in my restaurant. I live in La Jolla and its an affluent community but very conservative so they still think cali wines are the best thing since sliced bread so big cabs and buttery chards are what people ask for. I have to use my salesmenship to get people on to a Barolo or Brunello. That Cannubi was a like when your in high school and the hottest chic asks you over cause her parents are away for the weekend. Oh man!!!!! Giz..in..my pants!! It was that good. GO CHARGERS!!!!
