I’ve never bought a bottle of wine, but I would definitely buy one from Amir. Jake and Amir are the greatest.

Most expensive wine was a 2006 K-Vintners Syrah.

Usually get the show through iTunes, but came to WL today because you’re worth the time.
Thanks for all the time/content. Please, Please, Please, resolve the shipping to WA issues. (other online wine retailers ship here despite the “official” ruling) I really want to taste along at home with the Monthly Packs!

Sorry, not a huge fan of college humor on your show. The guys try way to hard to be funny and they come across as annoying. You know I always give you my honest feedback.

They should change the name of their show to elementary school humor. Not funny… Annoying!

Please don’t resort to this kind of thing Gary. There are plenty of other ways to expand young drinkers to try new options. There has to be young wine clubs,college wine bars etc… out there that will be able to appreciate what your trying to do other than these two d**che bags.

I realized that I am getting old when I don’t appreciate these guys. Sorry this show didn’t do it for me.

Yeah, this show definitely did not do it for me. These guys are clowns, Jake I will give some props, but Amir was a waste of space on that episode, and rather annoying.
QOTD: A Chateneuf du Pape for $38 is the most expensive wine I have ever purchased.

I really enjoyed this episode. I am happy to see people can be a little silly and honest because so many people are in the same position, just not knowing really anything about wine. With a little guidance we can all learn to appreciate it.

Whoa!! This is the first time I have ever stopped a WLTV episode inside the first 10 minutes….Jake – I could take, for a little longer than 10 mikes….Amir – he should find out what the definition of “push-up” is and DO SOME!! Ya know, I have a daughter in college – an expensive one, at that, and if I find out she is hanging out with dudes like Amir – she is done!!!!
This was a good episode to insult all of us that really appreciate the GOOD things you do…you need to fire your screeners.
I love what you do and KUTGW, just get back to the other crowd…..

QOTD not sure , sad to say but probally maybe wine that isnt super expensive, the clio i bought for around 40 bones, i loved it, but to spend major $$$, is tough

I’m sorry to those who believe this was a “bottom 10 episode,” or “unwatchably bad.” Please know that the idea to do this episode “in character” was not Gary’s, it was ours! The onus should be put on the guests, not on the host.

To those who place blame on Gary V — I hope you can have some perspective and realize that this is episode 649! SIX HUNDRED AND FORTY NINE! So the idea of Gary taking some risks that result in episodes you deem terrible is not only inevitable but NECESSARY in the sustainability of wine library TV. Besides, he was trying to stay on-game, always steering the conversation back to the wine and his critiques. He never wavered.

There will soon be another episode, one without Jake or myself, and you can get back to loving it as much as you have the previous 648.

We’re just glad to have had the opportunity to experience the thunder show first hand! And for what it’s worth, I know he was able to gain some new, younger fans, and hopefully turn them on to a world that they would normally not be exposed to. So this “experiment” was not entirely in vain.

Besides, I heard some positive feedback — some of which didn’t even come from my mother trying to defend me!

This show was not good for one reason, Amir.

Sorry Gary but there was nothing entertaining about this show. This was even worst than the last College Humor episode.
If this was the first time I had seen the show it would have been the last.

QOTD – Not counting bottles on expense account which were jacked up by the restaurants, a 375 ml Quintessa cab (bulked up to 750 ml price, it was most expensive – about 120 bones, as I recall) & although good, I would never do again – it was before I discovered the whole concept of QPR……. and buy it from you Amir …. are you kidding ??? Cut the QPR in half from an already poor QPR deal …. You need to discover the concept of QPR .
