Perhaps it is clear to me now why these two kids EDIT and GV does not.

It is just possible this is a low point in your process. Everyone has to have one.

For everyone disappointed with Jake and Amir I can understand as this was not their best performance. Their website contains a multitude of hilarious original videos, and in this setting they are not able to really shine. Don’t worry Gary you brought me in as a new viewer it seems like you enjoy having some fun with wine. I recommend checking out http://www.jakeandamir.com/ and exploring some of their videos i promise they are hilarious in their own element.

First time I’ve watched your show all the way through, Gary. I’m a big fan of Jake and Amir, so when they linked to WLTV I figured it was time for me to watch an episode and give it my full attention. Even with J&A’s antics I learned a ton while enjoying a glass of wine myself. I’ll definitely be coming back to watch more. Thanks!

Not the best show, but props to Gary for trying it. I did not mind all the joking around, I just wish they were a bit more into checking out the wine. Its cool to hear wide ranges of opinions, even from people with no expertise.

In France we would say : “c’est comme donner de la confiture aux cochons”, “it’s like giving marmalade to pigs”. They just don’t get how subtle wine can be.
But i guess since we have to look positively at everything and learn at every occasion, that it is just a great example of a new generation that is not interested by wine and has other interests.
From my point of view, it is sad though. They are missing something great !
Gary, keep going, give a voice to everyone! You are changing the wine world, whether we like it, or NOT !

I see a lot of people saying that this is a bad show.
If it is…So what!
I personally didn’t think it was that bad… I enjoyed the past episode with Streeter and Sarah more. I do agree that this one wasn’t LOL funny, but there was some value there. Specifically the Riesling in place of dessert wine.

I see a couple people commenting that you should “get back with the other crowd” and “Please leave the College kids alone”. If I am reading this correctly, only “mature, educated, sophisticated, middle-aged, etc…” people are allowed to enjoy and more importantly LEARN about wine. This goes against everything that WLTV stands for. At least a portion of what it stands for.

To see comments like “get a job jerk offs” and how someone is hoping their daughter, who is at a “VERY EXPENSIVE COLLEGE OMG TOOT MY OWN HORN SAYING THIS ONLY MAKES ME SOUND LIKE A RICH SNOB,” is worried about their daughter hanging out with guys like Amir…You people are making asses of yourselves. And if you people honestly couldn’t tell, Jake and Amir were in character for the show. wow, there is a serious lack of a sense of humor among the posters…everyone says they hate Amir, but do they understand that he is PLAYING A CHARACTER? if there is anything Gary has been advocating, it is that wine drinkers need to LIGHTEN UP…apparently there’s a long way to go

HEY GARY – Now you have an answer when people ask you about bad decisions you’ve made in the past! This episode was definitely a bad decision.
The guests in this episode are college dropout quality douchebags and completely ruined this episode.

WHAT AN INSULT to your previous guests who were almost exclusively of much higher caliber. Even Sarah and Streeter while not amazing, managed to show interest and create some spontaneous humor, and didn’t drag their episode through the floor with boredom like these two self-interested dopeheads.

And yes, I’m young enough to know all about their website, CollegeHumor. It’s not just the old people who thought this episode SUCKED.

By far one of the most AWKWARD episodes I have ever seen. That was SO hard to watch. I USED to be a fan of College Humor…this was just sad.

However, THANK YOU for exploring cheap wines!!!! Although they didn’t turn out so well….thanks regardless!
