Loved this episode! That wine reminded me a lot of what I thought of the Beringer Stone Cellars Cabernet Sauv.

QOTD: Not the most exciting drink, but I almost always get diet Coke & get very happy when they give me the whole can!

QOTD: Last week we had some plane issues while trying to fly back to PA from FL. I probably should have bought a round for all of the people dealing with my 3 y/o (kicking seats, exploding orange juice, etc). My wife choked down the awful chardonnay, but I took a pass and opted for the jack and coke. Any drink at that point was welcomed! It could have been moonshine…

QOTD: got bumped into business a couple times. Champagnes are always average (those “mosaique” non-vintage PR blends), but was served a ’90’s Chateau Margot (no clue what exact year, but it surprised me they were ballin enough to serve aged wine on a plane…) like it was water; they came back to refill practically after every sip. Air France knows what’s up… if you’re loaded.

hahaha ROTF classic episode, i love the expression of the lady beside you. The short episodes are good sometimes, it makes me feel more dedicated because I prob miss an episode or two a month. I’m sure you would agree the honey roasted peanuts ranks higher than the Vendange.

QOTD: Gin and tonic. I think it may be law that planes have to carry the worst wines available. (But, I did have a fantastic Macon-Villages while in a train – but that wasn’t the QOTD, now was it?)

Ahhhh nothing fancy for me on airplane

Just remember the $99 roundtrip Delta flights from DC to LaGuardia on Delta right out of college. Would pound the streets in NYC all day, be sweaty, make it to the airport 15 minutes before the plane jetted and….got my FREE Sam Adams…

hahaha this episode is classic. My family has an inside joke about Vendange wines which dates back to the early 90s, and I was actually given a bottle of 1991 Vendange Cab for christmas this past year. Needless to say, it was the color of brick and was unbearable to smell, let alone taste.

QOTD – I used to travel overseas a lot in business and first class. I think the best wine was Dom on Singapore Air. But now I travel in coach and drink the same crap you just had. But it is wine and it makes me feel good while on a cramped plane. Cheers.
