  • QOTD: I honestly don’t have an answer for this one. It would require some thought and I’m about to switch off for the night. Oh well.

  • QOTD: University of KENTUCKY! I didn’t go to school there, but I live in KY and the whole state is so full of diehard Kentucky fans, its really hard to even comprehend or explain. I think it might be something you can relate to, being a Jets fanatic. We just got a new basketball coach and I predict the Wildcats will come back in a big way next year. Kentucky’s football program ain’t too shabby either.

    Sweet!

QOTD: gotta go with my peeps at Walla Walla CC – rockstars.

I think you should re-evaluate the top two though…

fun show; gotta feel for those college kids trying to put together a wine. Does AJ make wine at school?

QOTD: Penn State (my first year was JoePa’s first as head coach.)
What, no love for PSU; I know it isn’t the NCAA, but they just rocked the garden winning the NIT.

  • And Washington State KILLS it AGAIN. Shocking.

    Excellent show.

QOTD – My alma mater The University of Washington. Though truth be told, I have learned more from life and travel than I ever could have in a class room.

man gary, brutal score for that michigan state wine, i almost want to buy it now just to experience 50 point quality.

easy question today, the university of wisconsin madison. great city, great people, acceptable wine selection, just about everything i want. i’m finishing up my third year now, but i’m on a study abroad program in australia now, honestly, madison wins on (almost) all counts.

University of Kentucky WILDCATS! Coach Cal will be bringing back the thunder to UK basketball. Go Big Blue! Gary, I emailed you months ago about doing a bourbon tasting. I think you said something in your reply about coming to the Derby. That plan still on? or is imminent parenthood changing your mind about traveling? There are some good wineries in KY that you could check out while you’re here.

QOTD: Michigan State University (proud grad and fan since the FIRST time they were in the Final Four (1957 with Jumpin’ Johnny Green — look it up).

MSU makes great basketball, not so much teh wine … but they did start the Michigan industry. Try some L.Mawby sparkling wine for the good stuff.

To Gretchen the Wolver-winer: at least MSU know how to make wine and play basketball, too!

QOTD: This is a hard one as I have my childhood sports favs, major favs, and my alma. I guess I have to go with Virginia Tech as I did spend three glorious years in the burg.

hmm. My college was Kent State. They shoot people there. Maybe if the hippies had given out wine instead of flowers, it would have ended differently.

QOTD: yawn, didn’t make it to the question.
