qotd: I haven’t seen your publication, but I’d say try to make it appealing to people in the trade and consumers rather than focusing on only one group. Personally, I’d prefer more of a trade focus, but I think you’d be limiting your readership by doing that. If that’s already your focus, I say keep it up and I’ll be a new subscriber.

Virginia makes better viogniers than California GV. Get some VA viognier on the show. Great show.

I’m interested in your thoughts regarding the aging potential of this varietal. Lots of talk out there concerning Viognier’s tendency to oxidize in a matter of a few years. Clearly that ’05 Texier is still going strong, eh?

Honestly, Gary you shouldn’t have the bottles in front of your face either. Find a neat way to display the bottles without them being in the way, maybe on a small shelf BEHIND you?
