87/100

The guest was a really nice guy but the sound was fuzzy and distant throughout and for that reason it only gets an 87

  • Very nice show but again, “Not Available” is disheartening though the next time I see the SB in my travels I will be sure to try it.

    QOTD: Jackie Stewart

Not my style show but great “A” level/ classic guest. I’m sure others enjoyed it more.

QOTD – I have no idea. Don’t follow Formula 1

Thanks GV for the show…keep pushing ’em out

QOTD: I haven’t a clue, but I am guessing the winner is gonna be some short dude with a creepy moustache.

That Sauvignon Blanc sounds off the hook! I can’t wait to get a taste so I can raise the roof!

Very interesting show. I don’t mind at all when it gets super nerdy on the WLTV.
    QoTD: Beats me.

I haven’t posted for awhile, but felt I needed to for this one 🙂

QOTD: I can’t see anybody beating Brawn GP or Jensen Button for the championships this year at the rate their going. I only hope my boys at Ferrari can improve so they look somewhat respectable by the end of the year. It’s rough seeing all the big dogs from the past few seasons running at the back of the pack.

Great Shows. Both Parts. Has to be one of my favorites of all time. I really do like it when Gary gets his Father on his shows. I am going to have to go back and watch the other 668 shows. To see if one of them tops this.

    Keep them coming Gary.

    I enjoyed the show(s).

QOTD: Clueless….I’m glad Peter has a non-wine hobby. Wine is my hobby. It’s his life.

Gentlemen start your engines. I’m clueless about the many types of racing. ISC NASCAR. other motor racing companies, drag racing, formula 1. All I know is that there is a lot I don’t know.

  • Lots of good info in this episode. I would love to see the Sauv Blanc harvest from a helicopter “Islands of Lights”. I can just imagine. Thanks gentlemen!

QOTD: I think that Button is tearing it up and Brawn-Mercedes kills the Constructor. Just hasn’t been the same for me since Schumacher left the circuit, (BIG Ferrari fan). Barrichello is hanging in there though.

  • J Crazy

The guy who drives the fastest and doesn’t F-up will win.

Great show. Been a fan of the CK wines for a while and it’s a breath of fresh freakin air to hear a good comment about Napa SB.
You should have a “find the diamond in the ruff” week where you take on Napa SB, Barossa Shiraz, Chile…or any other varietal/region/maker for a whole week and/or until you find a good couple/few wines that people can find relatively easily that will break the preconceived notions that they might have. Or do a marathon show where it’s drink/quickfire comment/pazz or no pazz/repeat. Go through like 20 wines with the goal to see if you CAN find that diamond in the ruff.

    Cheers.

I liked how this two part worked out. We got time to get to know who this was and why we should care then had enough time to do a proper tasting. As always keep up the good work.

QOTD: No idea as it is not something I follow.

Great show. Glad for the SB tip. Gary, I’d also check out Merry Edwards Sb, the best i’ve ever had from Cali, and Toquade, a tiny producer. Both have remarkable concentration, intense grapefruit notes, and a lot fo complexity and length, with great acid and balance.

Loved it. My first thought in seeing the Sauvignon Blanc was “Oh, Gary’s not gonna like this!” It’s good to see you surprised!

First time posting on here, these past two episodes have been exeptional. Hats off to Prof. Boyer at VT for intoducing us to the Vaynernation.

QOTD: Jenson Button and Team Braun are looking dominant right now, but Vettel is my dark horse to win it all. Once they get to europe i think it will be a totally different ball game
