Wow, pretty rough on the CDR. I’ve had mixed results with Dom Presidente, but a score in the 70’s? Maybe a modified version of boxing’s 10-point must system (relative to the best wine of that particular tasting) might work better within the context of the show. But I do appreciate your willingness to try and rate fairly obscure wines with few or no preconceptions. Thanks!

My wife (slingshot) and I found a way to go on the Thunder Cruise and had the time of our lives. We met some amazing people and had some incredible experiences including an intense game of Sangria Quarters, surviving a life-threatening Sandstorm, and tasting 300 wines to name a few.
Thank you Gary, Matt, Mike and everyone that planned and/or attended the cruise!

Thunder Cruise 2010: If you can swing the cost, GO. You will get double your money’s worth at least… not to mention priceless experiences & friendships!

Nice. I have liked the Bouchaine wines that I’ve had. I just couldn’t afford the time or money that would have been required for me to go, largely because I had just been on Jamcruise in January. Although I’m sure your cruise was a blast, I stand by my decision and would make it again.

I simulated the experience by weaving and swaying from side to side and then throwing up all over myself.

QOTD: I had a conference in SF….believe me I wished i had gone!

Gotta compliment the audience. Unlike most of your live shows, where the crowd seems to be noisy and out of control, this audience was enthusiastic, yet respectful. Made for a very good show!
