I’ve heard from my Italian wine making friends that they can tell the difference between crushed grapes by men and women, and they traditionally don’t let pregnant or menstruating women crush. ( sexist or I don’t know what, it’s what they say. )

As a home-wine maker, his tips on taste … touch ( sticky) …food first… Breakfast wine – “breakfast being the import meal that it is – needs wine” All great points on what you want the wine to be. His mother’s …”if you are hungry- don’t marry, learn how to cook”…ALL GOOD!! Very Wise guest! This guy preaches wisdom. Most memorable because he touches core values, and he is humble. He wandered the wine world and PAID attention to the important things.

Spectacular! I think this is the most I’ve ever laughed for a show. Great stuff, and to think I didn’t even know who Mr. Schuster was. As for the QOTD, I’ve never even thought of it like that, but I can understand what he’s talking about. And sorry for lurking lately, been a bit busy in my life this month.

Shame on you for trying to make him raise the price when people can’t even eat or pay the rent. . Wine is too expensive as it is. I hope you were joking. I think others should lower their prices.

That show was what the Ancient Greeks called “Delight” … the child of Intelligence and Passion. Thank you Daniel (and Gary) it was a delight to experience.

If the “TV and Print Media” would put images of people like Daniel in front of us … it would change our countries “youth” culture back to one that respects, embraces and cherished our older people as the pillars they are. Have him back! I loved him and yes, I am a lady, so maybe that is why. So many sexually provocative, religiously provocative (that darn carpenter), just provocative comments. Hilarious too. I loved the history of his life. Could listen to his stories for hours. Looking forward to peaches and stilton.

As for raising the price, if you have a good thing, it is high quality, with limited qualities, only in great vintage years, I agree. He is shortchanging himself. There are plenty of wineries that charge double, triple, quadruple that for wines made in larger quantities, every year.
